I've got an S&T M40A5 with a 3-9 x 40 Simmons scope. The scope has a mil-dot reticle, flip-up dust covers, 30mm rings, and windage and elevation adjustment turrets that can be removed via set screws and reset to zero after you've zeroed the scope, and it's only $80.00 at Wal-Mart. Not a bad find, as far as I'm concerned.
Done much assembly in my day and I love how you've engineered your rifle. The ideology behind your build is what I look for in anything I buy or do myself. Nice work.
Thank you so much for the amazing tips and techniques. When my friend first started talking about the SSG24, he made it sound like a 1,500 USD rifle. I checked the price on your website and was relieved to find that the rifle actually fit my budget. I'm also grateful for the additional info on the Novritsch page pertaining to the more in depth parameters/specs of the rifle. And thanks again for the amazing tutorial on airsoft sniping. I've been passionate about the sport for awhile, and I think that this might be my "vocation" to a particular aspect of the sport.
I started playing airsoft about 4 months ago with a busted up Echo 1 PSR and a plastic scope; my godfather recommended me this video to help me learn the basics. I just wanted to say thank you. Your videos are amazing and have helped me more than I can dare to fathom. Between paychecks, I've been saving a little each month towards an SSG; but even with my broken down gun I have been able to enjoy my time as a beginner airsofter thanks to you and your video. So again, Vielen dank.
As someone who is saving up to get into airsoft, this guide has been super helpful! I'm definitely gonna get your gun too, I'm highly impressed by the shots I see you and Silo pulling off with it. Could you possibly do a detailed video explaining how to adjust the hop-up and scope so everything lines up perfectly?
Also Australian.. discovered this not so long ago. I had heard about it, but didn't look into it properly. It looks damn awesome. I would be pretty interested in this if it was legal. We have paintball, but that's not at all very appealing to me.
Hey Novritsch, if you're reading this, I would just like to say that I really appreciate what you are doing with your airsoft videos and also your new production line. I really love how you have these videos to help us (airsoft players). I just want to say I love your videos and I am excited to see more to come. Thank you!
I accidentally bought one. 😰 I was checking my PayPal account seeing how much it would leave my balance and I hit pay instead of cancel. 😰 so much for saving up for a new truck.
At 51:44 he says you need ‘nodleknees pliers’ XD I love the gun, love the videos, I am currently saving up to buy the ssg24, it is one of the highest quality guns I can find. Thanks for the videos, inspiration, and great gear. Keep on rockin on.
Europe is the best place to play airsoft. Such cool and insane landscape. If your lucky you might get to play at an old world war bunker or something. And you don’t have to have that stupid orange tip at the end of the gun
MrJesulius hahah . lol I'm pretty sure his dsg is alot better !! better movement faster Tigger response and it's oc airsoft . srry you get butthurt from speedsofters!!! oc airsoft is awesome man.
Classic army m24 ltr is amazing stock for anyone looking for a cheap alternative, not fully upgradable tho so don't expect some insane performance after upgrades.. nice exterior too (almost no wobble)
Hi! The problem with very white BB's is that one's target can spot them in flight so it is important to fire when the target's eyes are away from the flight path. Thanks for the video really reinforces what one already does from previous miitary experience or elsewhere.Thanks. Be Safe,Be Blessed.
Can't really agree with you Novritsch. Working with a sniper rifle is MUCH easier than with a gbb, aeg or PTW. For sure you need time to put into the gun (what ever gun it is, aeg, sniper etc.) to make it PERFECT and i can assure you that your gun will also need some love to be perfect!
The way I have my M28 and MK98 set up, (lots of experimenting with rubber o rings) the cylinder really makes almost no noise at all. I use a really old style suppressor with foam and a spring on the inside, and it actually muffles the rest of the sound quite well. I also have a longer inner barrel that extends halfway through the suppressor that also increases the accuracy slightly, but not really that much. The suppressors also look badass, so thats a plus.
hey Novritsch I am a big fan of you from India I see your videos and get motivated every single time but in our country we may or may not play airsoft but plzzz don't stop making sniper video you are just amazing.
I have been playing aisoft for 2 and a half years and I love it I still have my starter rifle and recently bought a new pistol and interested in buying your ssp18 and your ssg24 and a new AEG rifle I love your videos!!!
I would have to disagree, the VSR10 was my first sniper rifle and actually because it's so modular and upgradeable it made me learn about all the internals and how it all works and made me more knowledgeable in teching...so actually it's the perfect first gun to do it with to learn
Thank you for this video and I want to start airsoft sniping because the American military "doesn't have room for me" and I wanted to be a sniper so thank you so very much for this video it helped me out 👍👍👍 keep up your work man
I saw a guy's sniper with one of those levelling bubbles used for DIY attached to his rail. It just poked out to the left a little, so as he's looking down the scope he can open his left eye to check his rifle is level, then return to aiming. Simple but very bloody effective. ;)
Yeah, you can find rails and scope mounts with spirit levels for that exact purpose. also aids scope adjustment, if your rifle isn’t level (canted) then your round will tend to go left or right of where you aim. Adjusting and scoping in on a canted rifle is pointless. the moment you move, the aim is off.
Skip the camo part and just refer to us army sniper field manual for camo theories and ghillie suite/field craft. I went through Sniper school in 2012 and proper camouflage isnt trying to make yourself look like"something" but rather look like nothing. Called Negative Camouflage versus positive which is something like Mossy Oak or something like that. A large ghillie Vail and a camo paint job on your rifle/optic with "bird nest" vegetation on the rifle works great
Novritsch you are my favorite my birthday is coming up soon and I am inspired by you so I’m watching this video to learn all about getting in to sniping and I really like your gun.
so im coming from paintball, and in paintball its mostly close range because the paintballs drop really fast. Personally im a mid/long range player but its difficult to do in paintball. Do you think paintball experience translate to airsoft?
even tho its not my plan to dive straight into sniping as you said its gonna be hard without no airosft experience at all. it helped me allot still both because some of these tips you can use in other sitution + when i wanna be a sniper i know how, so thanks!
I've used a bipod on my sniper for about a year and the games i play are quite slow so setting up isn't an issue of time. It gives great support and is easier hold a shot still.
I bought an MB01 with the intention of upgrading it but at the moment it's only used as a backup in case my M4 doesn't want to play ball. Having said that it shoots fairly well despite being an out-of-the-box sniper.
I'm starting out with a $100 or so AEG. It's 350-400 fps and I plan to turn it into a recon/dmr gun, even though it's a carbine. I figure, it's high enough fps to be accurate, and the long barrel of a sniper or a conventional dmr is unnecessary. The long barrel mainly is there to look cool.
He's using a lavalier mic.. It's attached to his jacket's collar. It's the black thing with the cord, so everytime he moves the mic picks up the sound from his movement.
At 11:30 you can hear the camera audio. Sounds tin-canned. At 12:15 he used the lapel mic. Sounds great. Either he didn't check the lapel quality or fucked up the editing. Either way kinda...noobish. Unless it's to get rid of ppl that are just watching for nothing. Then that's pro as fuck. Rock on. Unintentional professionalism! I love you.
