This is a year old so it's probably too late, but please don't buy a pistol as your first airsoft gun. It's 31 rounds, that not nearly enough to get through a game. Get a beginner aeg, like a combat machine 16, specna arms core series, hell get a Lancer tactical.
Literally thought this guy had hundreds of thousands of subs due to the quality of the video and the great editing. Was shocked to see he has below 10K.
I'm about six months late but, thank you for the review. As someone who usually snipes I've been having trouble trying to find a reliable sidearm. I really appreciate the help and this was needed.
@@semtex8690 i don’t own an ssp1. Honestly an ssp1 would probably be pretty good too since its also a hi capa. Parts are easy to find if you want to swap things out.
Today I received my SSP-1 second generation on green gas I immediately broke it down and silicone spray lubricated hammer, trigger and sliding surfaces with vaseline medical grease and a little silicone oil spray and now it works great and smooth. adjusted the hop pap and with the 0.28 pellet it is phenomenally accurate at 30-40 m. at which I tested it. I am very happy with my second generation SSP-1. I also have to say that after that I put another recoil spring a little stronger than the WE Colt 1911 instead of the original one, which is a little softer or rather weaker and gives more recoil, while the recoil from the WE Colt 1911 reduces recoil and gets even better accuracy. It's worth every penny invested
I have two SSP1 and the first one was absolute crap, does not work reliably, it has no consistency in both range and accuracy and often only half cocks the hammer, I have seen extremely cheap pistols outperform it. The second SSP1 on the other hand works like a dream and is one of the best airsoft pistols I shoot.
@@masonlaw7628 It was the first one I got was a crap one, at least the lower for it. The first one i got is still "complete shite" its the second one (completely different gun) that is great.
Is removing the orange tip easy? I’m on the fence. I’m between this and the ASG CZP09. Cannot decide. I hear better reliability and less parts breaking and malfunctioning on the CZ. Idk. Help me ou
I’m probably late but I’ve been trying to decide between the two as well and just went with the SSP1, I’ve always liked the 1911 platform and I think you’re getting the better bang for your buck, especially with all of the pre-upgraded parts and pieces + I wasn’t a huge fan of the polymer they use for the P09
The orange tip was a pain to get off for me. I put it in microwaved water (hot) for about 2 minutes and took some pilers to it. The plastic broke in half and the orange tip was gone, kind of. Since it tore, there was still orange plastic in the barrel. So I removed the outer barrel and used a blow dryer to heat it. It gets very hot when using a blow dryer, so I put on a glove and held it. Then I used a ice pick type tool to slowly pick at the plastic, it's threaded inside so be careful when you take the orange tip off. Afterwards though, it shoots like a dream, and I can out a tracer unit on it in the future if I want.
I bought one for my son who has rarely used it. Today we decided to get the guns out and after 1 round the spring shot out the end along with part of the barrel which has broken, also the safety catch broke just before this happened.
I got mine a few months ago. Right before all the airsoft places decided to close for the virus. I have CO2 cartridges that constantly get stuck in a couple of them. The magazine catch barely works, if at all. The extended piece of the magazine catch broke off. Ive never dropped it, mishandled it, misused it or anything, it just fell off after I picked it up. I contacted them about the magazine catch not working at all and they said "yeah it'll do that, just break it in." I shouldn't have to "break it in" the magazine catch should be the least of my worries.
@ well I've heard the opposite, I've heard that it's a great starting pistol and yeah. Btw I don't really play airsoft too much so i don't upgrade my guns mainly bc I'm only 14, so I'm honestly just looking for a good pistol
@@tomrobenek3220 Get it man its the main secondary of a famouse youtuber with millions of subs. And its made by him customly.

@@tomrobenek3220 update: got my ssp1. I love it kicks amazing shoots straight. Only thing I'm not too happy about is the fact that i have had two metal parts. a piece of the hop-up assembly and the slide catch break off and in half. contacted Noveritch support and am still waiting for a reply. hopefully they just replace the parts and or the gun because it is brand new and already have had 2 parts break
How the Novritsch SSP1 has proven itself when, with regular cleaning and lubrication, the durability of all internal parts when using ampoules with CO2 gas or with green gas
I live in pa we play in snow I use this all year hand warmers co2 cartridges in a pouch keep mags against body to keep warm is crazy accurate I use .32 great range for a pistol
I just want to know how many mags I can go through with 1 co1 12 g capsule. I think that this should be the only thing your reviewing with the trigger pull.
I personally use 1 CO2 per mag, running .36 bb's. It will run about 1 full mag and half of the second mag with around 30 bb's per mag, but I change CO2 everytime I reload mag. This is without any mods to the pistol still stock straight from novritsch. It is running just under 395 fps I think last chrono with fresh CO2 around 389 fps. This is my second season running it and no issues, I can out range some stock aeg's and it is funny when you see their face getting shot by a pistol at distance. If anything happen to this one, I would buy another for the price and what you get is well worth it. Keep in mind it is load, so sneaky sniper it isn't.
Florian Klingenschmid that’s a tough one! I guess it all depends on what I’m feeling! If I want to play aggressive and loud! I’ll go with the SSP1! Then if I want to play sneaky and quiet I’ll switch to the SSX23! Thanks so much I appreciate the kindness! 💙
My friend just recently bought one and it uses gas like there’s no tomorrow. He gets about 1 1/4 magazines on one cartridge of Co2. I have a beretta m9A3 and I get around five mags on one co2 cartridge shooting around 340 fps and it has full auto. The ssp shoots well but because of how often he had to change the gas I personally didn’t like it. If there is anything to improve this gas efficientcy please let me know great review though.
Honestly I’ve been thinking about getting one for the longest time but I just have never been sure and all the other videos they just don’t tell you what you want to know but this told me what I wanted to know about it and now I’m safely gonna say, I’m gonna go ahead and pick myself up one of these
It only gets worse! Now just one week later (less than 3 weeks of use, less than 30 co2 capsules), recoil spring guide broke. This part actually flew out of the pistol with the spring itself. It is sad that even though Novritsch is willing to replace the part, they are out of stock. So it will take 3 weeks for them to get the part + 1 week for delivery to me :(
Han nes damn. I keep hearing these stories. I have one on the way and Seriously considering cancelling and getting a CZ Shadow 2 or KJW M9. But I really want to have a chance with this gun. But if it lets me down I just hope I can sell it.
I have the SSP1 and I am very happy with it. It shoots very far and the flight of the BBs are very straight. It shoots like a laser. On the other hand I also own the SSX23 and I am completely unhappy with it. Shots are not consistent (they have mostly a tendency to the left) and that is after sending it back to them to be repaired since the silencer wasn’t aligned with the gun and the hopup chamber didn’t close completely and it still doesn’t. I have given up with this one and considered it written down and money lost.
U should mention its a heavy pistol in the review & even more so when holstered … a younger player might find it fatiguing to game with … I know I do & I am far from being young 😬… good review ..
But what about if you compare this with a 1911 cybergun rail gun?? Is pretty much the same price,so i wondering if the cybergun quality isn't better...
alessandro vari I have the Kwc cybergun 1911. I did a couple modifications and it’s a good pistol. But the mags really max out at 15 and they are hard to reload with your finger as the spring is a beast. But it’s a heavy solid gun and I like it. I’m actually looking into this now and may sell my black 1911 with magpul grips. We’ll see.
I really want to get this gun because of the kick back on it, I go by a saying: It aint a good gun unless you wrist hurts after shooting it. I also have heard MANY good things about this.
Honest to god, for my 13th birthday my parents said I can try airsoft, so when I found this pistol, I believe this might be a good beginner pistol, but that’s my opinion.
I saw a video where the cut out slide and short stroking did nothing to the gas efficiency, kinda confused me. How many shots do you get out of CO2 mags compared to no short stroking/ cut out slide.
What short stroke kit did you use? I want to short stroke mine as well but i dont want to use Novritsch one, because i would have to also pay for the slide which i do not want.
I don't know if I'm just stupid or something but after like a month of owning this the slide release broke and safety switch is loose and the co2 is inconsistent
is this thing essentially a pre-upgraded hi capa? With a threaded barrel? and a lower frame with a rail on it? Damn maybe I should have bought one of these
Hello, I have 3 questions if you don't mind. Is it fully compatible with custom blowback housings, like UAC or COWCOW? After your short stroke mod, did you have any problem with nozzle returning, do you have reinforced nozzle spring? And last, you said you realy like the gas route rubber. How do you think it stands against for example nine ball route, or some other brands, like Dynamic Precision? If you have any nine ball at home, would you be so awesome and test the FPS difference against Novritsch? Thank you.
Hey, so should I get this or a Tokyo Marui hi capa 5.1? I've heard very mixed opinions. I may completely abandon getting the Novritcsh since they just raised the price from $160 to $190.
Some places only measure in joules, and that's it.. so regardless of your fps or BB weight if you shoot within the MED your good. 🙂 i prefer it that way over places that only use fps and light weight bbs
i see you're left handed!! im left handed myself, and I've had problems with my WE Glock 17. the mag release gets pressed alot by accident whenever i draw as it's in the way of my trigger finger. so i had to literally shave off a good portion of the mag release button to counter this, and even go as far as wrapping some tape around the magazine to make it fit tighter in the magwell so i don't lose the mag (but now i have to pull the mag out every time i reload) do you encounter this problem with the ssp? your trigger finger accidentaly applying pressure to the magazine release button, and the mag falls out/goes loose? im really eyeing the ssp because i need something reliable, but im worried about the mag release because im a lefty.
***i checked my We Glock 17 again btw, and it's actually the root of my middle finger which hits the mag release. if i hadn't shaved off a good portion of its mag release button, it'd be a total pain in the butt to use.
hi bro i wanted to ask you something about the gun i took one a short while ago and i noticed that the barrel moves slightly back and forth i wanted to ask you if it was the same in yours, if not i will have to change it
It's a bit off topic for such an old video, but im a thirteen year old looking to play airsoft for my 14th birthday and if i enjoy it im willing to invest in guns, first one id like to save up for is the SSP1, Do you recommend any "Main" guns?
When I was in the same position, I got myself a G&G combat machine, it's essentially a battery powered M4 and costs around £130. On the other hand, a Cyma AK around the same price is probably just as good depending on what you like the look of. Hope you enjoy it, have fun!
@@dwn0845 any evidence? I've heard people say that but they've never been people who own the actual guns. I've met and seen reviews from people who've not had any association with him and they've given great reports
Green gas has some problems with cold and won't shoot as consistently, green gas in general shoots with lower fps. CO2 shoots with higher fps and doesn't get affected by the cold but will cause more gun problems in general as it makes the guns parts move faster and harder, the SSP1 is a durable pistol and shouldn't have any problems with CO2, they both cost around the same though but green gas is technically cheaper per shot. It really comes down to preference
Llama Lover 089 a lot no need to worry with a big can u can get a lot if price for you is low as possible green has is the way I use my current pistol and I have had the same can of gas for abt 1-2 months maybe longer bare in mind you don’t always use a pistol unless you are going to a indoor field
Lookup sandman the sniper on RU-vid. He has videos for all kinds of mods for this pistol. He has even made it full auto. But can still go back to semi if he wants.
