Can we give some big respect for Novritsch, because he actually takes time to address problems that go on with his products. True legend right here. Mad respect.
@@EyeOfArcadia Thats like saying "Microsoft should release Windows without issues!". Pure bogus! Tech and mechanical object need MAINTENANCE!!!! Especially airsoft products. Parts will wear and tear over time. For instance, a car. It needs a MAINTENANCE check from the dealer every X amount of time. You need to air your tires every X amout of time. Its called MAINTENANCE!!! i had to fix a goldmatch mag today. It just takes work to maintain it. Its not a problem, it works by design. Not all consumer products work wothout maintenance for 100 years. a especially airsoft!!!!!!!!!
@@chef7658 i currently have a piece of tape covering my mag because the hammer no longer strikes it. Its just a shotty product man. You can get better consistency just buying a drum mag
In contrast to gas you should release the CO² when storing the mag. Before you use it again, grease the orings like shown. Sometimes when mags are new the only need some silocone grease to seal.
I'm extremely grateful that you put this video up! I normally do not even comment on any channel whatsoever, but I had to give a shout out on saving me a lot of time, money and sheer frustration! LOL!I bought a key and silicone lube I was able to fix my magazines without a single hitch! Thanks again and God bless!
Thank you Novritsch, I have been struggling with this problem a while with my CO2 mags. I bought a new valve, and eventually a new mag but they both had problems. I tried tuning the tightness and everything i could think of to get this to work, i think greasing the crap out of the ring finally got it to seal on both mags. I love the ssp-1 and im hoping I'll actually get to use it more now.
Hi Novritch! I purchased a SSP1 about a year and a half ago and I decided to also purchase an extra mag for it. When the pistol arrived I loaded the mags with CO2 and the mag that came with the gun sealed amazingly and didn't leak at all. The spare mag on the other hand leaked most of the CO2 out. What confused me was that the CO2 leaked out at the bottom where the cartridge goes in. I tried again and I was able stop the leaking sooner by tightening the nut a lot harder. When I shot the mag, I only had about 30 shots worth of CO2 left in the cartridge. When I went to take the cartridge out, I had had to tighten it so much to stop the leaking that couldn't unsrcew it. I ended up putting it in a vice so I could actually loosen it. I sent your support team an email about the problem and they asked for a video. After sending a video of the problem they said to tighten the CO2 nut faster. The thing is, I'm tightening it quickly. And like I mentioned before, I had to tighten it way past the point the other mag (that came with the gun and seals perfectly) needed. I've watched just about every video on RU-vid about your SSP1 magazines and HiCapa magazines in general and have not come up with a solution. I kind of just gave up after your support team didn't offer much help. Since then I have just had the one magazine to run which doesn't make games very fun and it has also made me dislike airsoft a little bit. I love my SSP1 and have contemplated getting another mag for it but I'm afraid the same thing will happen again. So since I don't have money to just buy things that I can't be sure about I haven't purchased any more magazines. I am also slightly disappointed with your support team since I have heard good things about them. Thanks for reading this and I hope you can help! UC2 Studios
Thank you so much for your video there are not many out there that shows the CO2 taken out of the magazine cleaning and releasing pressure once again thanks
Guess I’ll have to get that tool at 1:25 because both of the magazines I bought for my ssp18 started to have that issue where it shoots co2 out the valve after about 2 weeks after purchasing. Maybe if they were a little more secure out of the factory I wouldn’t have had to spend another $40 on a product that would end up having the same issues…
@@swisscheesy1560 I ordered one for 3 euros on aliexpress, saw them on ebay as well. Gonna have to wait a bit but beats not having one at all. Just type in "valve key" and look for one that has 4 different keys in an X shape, one of them will be what we're looking for.
Hey Novritsch, please fix the ssp1 mags, the quality control sucks, they leak right out of the box, at 30 bucks a pop we shouldn't need to rebuild the damn things to get them to work, just like the rest of you its very frustrating. I appreciate the peeps that are posting the "how to fix" a leaking mag, Bought many of his items but losing faith in the company. A good company backs there products.
Hi just recieved my ssp1 in march the co2 mag is leaking from the bottom. I tried putting the oil on the part that pierces the co2 like you show in the vid that didnt work. Turns out the O ring that is attached to the part that pierces the co2 bulb is perished and damaged you should show this in a vid its an easy fix
richie777711 hi ya I have the same problem with 2 out of the three I ordered as well then lost the one good one outa the ssp some how on the 2nd game...talk about crappy luck. How did you fix
@@smadello69 Hi on the CO2 mags look down the mag where the co2 goes in thats the stab valve. Get a wide bladed screw driver and unscrew it carefully. You will see an oring, this was damaged on mine. Get a replacement from any car/hardware shop (machine mart if you are in the uk) remove the old one put the new one on - make sure its not too big or you will struggle to get it back down the mag and it will be impossible to get back out again. Use some silicone oil to help. Worked on mine Good luck. Richie
richie777711 thanks Richie your a life saver for posting the same issue I wish novi would take notice of the fix you found it worked instantly for me so there is an issue with his manufacture because there have been lots of leaky mags I see online. Thanks again
I'm having the same issues. I just got mine today. I bought 3 megazines, and each one leaks...I'm wondering if I'm loading it wrong? because as soon as I screw the cap in and it breaks the seal of the cannister, it starts leaking and have white-ish foam by the cap. I tried screwing the cap tighter to get a better seal, nothing....
Benyamin David it’s the o ring on the bottom of the thing that pierces the co2 you need a big wide screwdriver or a grinder down wood chisel and unscrew the bottom piece out. Oil the o ring or replace it will one the same size not bigger or you’ll never get that piece out again then wrap the threads with plumber tape to seal the threads and that worked for me
I will rephrase the question what was the tool that you used to unscrew the cap on the CO2 magazine and is it necessary because my friend got Me one for my birthday and I do not know if it is necessary or not
@@martijnvanrooijen7386 managed to fix it somehow I am able to unscrew the exhaust valve. And I'm going to buy the SSX23 as well because the ssp1 is more of a show off weapon in my opinion the SSX23 has better performance
@@michaelgonzalez2516 for my playstyle ID rather switch to the SSX23, not that the ssp1 is bad it's a great weapon but it's very loud and in a radius of 20 meters maybe more enemy's will hear you. Greengas is better if you want to have quicker refills but I want to play at different weather conditions as well and 1 co2 capsule can shoot about 2-3 magazines and depending on your playstyle I personally don't use it that much that I would have to change it as often as you'd think. You can't really say which is better because both have advantages and disadvantages but I prefer co2
I dont know what happened to my ssp1 but one of my mags was mega leak and the gun like exploded gas lol, i think its a mag issue. My 2 mags can barely empty one mag without running out of gas, thank you for the tech support.
@@adamkordula9357 alright so I ordered one of the 3 sided fixers like he has, and did his exact steps and it fixed it, so order one of those (I got the link from a comment on this vid somewhere) and follow his steps
Maybe you have an alloy part of the capsule sticking in the exhaust valve and blocking it to close again. Get the valve out and clean it. Maybe you will need a new one because the plastic sealing is f+cked up by the debris
Whenever I try to refill my mag from the top the green gas just escapes and it dosent refill the mag. I have unscrewed the top valve and used silicon from the novritch maintenance kit. Does anyone have any ideas I’m gone be ordering a new valve anyway but is there a way to fix this thanks
It worked at first , but then I shot it and it started to leak again from the top. Not alot but I can hear the co2 escaping from the top of the mag. I have the crosman pfam9b
Watch his maintenance vid on his website or find it on RU-vid, and when he disassembles the inner and outer barrel, skip from there to when he reassembles it, but use the no-orange tip barrel
Good instructions as far as they go but you left out a huge step of troubleshooting and fixing the seal between the co2 cylinder and the mag where the piercing needle is.
Wait a second, I just bought my SSP1, I live in the Desert, and I played with 3 CO2 mags, and one of the mags cannot hold the CO2, judging by this video. You are knowingly selling me and us poor quality and defective parts???? Now you're telling me that I have to buy additional tools just so I can use these mags properly???? Shouldn't they be working outta the box??? I don't understand this method of business??? All three of my brand new mags leak out of the box.....
Danny Rodriguez it’s the o ring on the bottom of the thing that pierces the c02 canister unscrew it with a big screwdriver and change the o ring or oil it and wrap the threads with plumbers tape that worked for me. It’s the o rings coming Taiwan no-good.
Do not put a o ring thicker then what’s in there or you’ll never get it out again if you do you’ll have to turn upside down and bang the shit out of it upside down to make it fall out again...not fun.
Danny Rodriguez any car parts store should have a container with an assortment or you could just oil the one you have and use that white plumbing tape for the threads...just add a couple of clockwise wraps to the threads and screw it back in and it should seal
I got a very similar Co2 pistol recently and the gas started leaking so I unscrewed the tank and it shot out, I lost the screw that holds the canister in. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement without replacing the mag, I’m going to get a spare anyway but I’d like to have another one.
Where can I buy that wrench? I can't find it anywhere. This cleaning and oiling procedure worked for my Umarex BB magazine. I removed the inner seal with a large screw driver no problem. It's reverse threaded and it was loose so between that and this procedure, it's working again. Now where can I get that wrench! :-)
i read the comments you people write and i can't believe you don't know or haven't heard about gun maintenance and that your airsoft replicas mostly break down or have malfunctions just because you don't clean and oil them properly. So I'm asking all of you if your car can run and run without putting oil in the engine and without fuel in the tank to run? Your replicas will last and work longer if you clean and lubricate them more often and the parts that wear out over time will last longer and even faster if they are not lubricated.
Yo I need help does the gun not do very well in 10-20 degree temps when it shots it sounds strong on the first shot but it gets weaker the more shots and it runs out of co2 mid mag
@@calebhill9191 call me a brute but what I did was took an ice pick and hammered the bottom to make a hole and pulled it out. My advice is to do that and the I made sure it was well oiled and since then hasn't been too bad. I'll check again with another cannisters and see how it is later today.
I have not been able to find individual parts, only kits which I don't want to buy because I don't need all the parts they want to sell you. Do you know someplace where separate/individual parts can be ordered ?
It can happend that the screws get loose from the recoil of the gun. Just tight them with a valvetool like shown in the video and you should be good to go!
Most likely it’s the O ring in the bottom of the c02 chamber but on the inside( the part that pierces the cO2 chamber and add Teflon to the threads just don’t use an O ring bigger then the one that’s there or you’ll never get that piece out...multiple people including me have had the same problem with the cO2 mag and that’s how it’s fixed.
is there no other way to make Green gas magasin its been around for many years now same with co2 always the same leaks and problem its so sad there is new things to make it better
