Remembering the 13 fallen soldiers from the tragedy in Afghanistan this week. Thank you for your service. God Bless America and all the heroes in the arm force.
As a retired Korean naval officer, i was always impressed on dedication of U.S. navy friends. Korean people knows that U.S. sacrifice many soldiers for our freedom and always thanks to U.S. ROK - U.S alliance forever! We go together, Kachi kapshida!
Oh trust me it touches me. Every year at my church they always do this medley. To see everyone stand up for their branch is just so honoring to see. Both of my parents served in the military. They instilled in me to love my country with a passion and to be proud to be an American. I will never apologize for the love of my country. I’m proud to be a patriot.
I'm guessing Americans who don't feel proud hearing these songs have a moral conscience and deplore the centuries of warfare by the Americans for self-interests. It's called "being human".
@@violetsther3739 America has helped more people out of poverty than any other country in human history. Name a more immigrant friendly country. None of the Nordic countries allow people to come in unless they’re rich. Canada same way. New Zealand and Australia same. We throw benefits at undocumented migrants like no other country. We’re not perfect but we’re pretty damn good
Unfortunately I can’t join the navy or military in general due to health reasons. But I’m hoping to join as a nurse. Wonder if the same standards are required or if it’s different.
It’s been two years so far! Thank you everyone for the support and positive comments! I’m getting ready to finish undergrad and will be doing the HPSP program through the Navy soon! Thank you all!
its 2020, if you ever see this again I just want to say thank you to you and all your family members who have served in the armed forces of the United States of America . I am not an American but without your great nation I dont know where the rest of this world would be . Thank you.... and thank you America .
My grandfather was in the army in trench warfare in WWI. My dad was in WWII in the old Army Air Corps (before it was the Air Force) and I was in the army (70-76) during the Vietnam war but not “in country “. Proud of my heritage.
@@kriegertechpriest7011 son and a daughter. Both in their 40’s now Sadly neither continued our tradition but still proud of them both for other career achievements.
Same here. My grandfather was in WWII in the Army and served on the front lines in the Battle of Bulge. Never knew that till I saw his papers. His brothers served in WWII one in the Navy and the other in the Marines. My father served in the Air Forces during Vietnam War and served in the 1st Persian Gulf before retiring. Both my uncles one in the Army and the other in the Air Force. Then I served in 2003 - 2012 in the Army and did two tours in Iraq. My Nephew who joined the Air Force couple of years ago did a tour in the Middle East. My second nephew is about to join the Army this year after high school. Proud to carry on our family tradition. My brother and sister was thinking about Marines and one for Navy a while ago but didn't. So I carried it on in my generation.
@@domciuniuszek they were only asking bc you made the statement that you're not American. I imagine they were curious where you are from. God bless Poland.
@@Messerschmitt_BF_109G_10 I still remember first time I sang the Army's medley I was in my elementary school choir I forget which grade either 4th or 6th grade and we sang this song except in place of Army in our choir books was the name Caissons ( I'm probably misspelling the name ) and now as I am older I can recall the surprised looks I got from several elderly folk some who were military vets at a church choir event practice I went to with a client whom I took care of when I worked as a caregiver and she had for 4th of July or memorial day a choir practice and I was singing along in the audience to all of the Military Medley except for coast guard as I didn't know that one.
So freakin proud to be American 🇺🇸 my grandfather was one of 50 Royal Tongan Marines who fought in WW2 for Tonga along side the US in the Solomon Islands and Guam against the Japanese. When he and my grandma moved to the US it was 1970 and they settled in Provo Utah where my family lives to this day. 💯 God bless this great country and thank you to all the heroes who have served, still serve and will ever serve. God bless America!!!!! 🦅🇺🇸⭐
My high school did a similar thing. Our marching band played each song and our guests either retired or active stood up at their branch. I was so proud at my grandfather, a 3 Star Air Force general stand up and sing not just the Air Force song but the army song since he was in the army air corps as well and a graduate of West Point.
I am so impressed by these performances, in part because I'm a (veteran) part of the armed forces that the medley honors. Thank you. May God bless Mr. Gary Sinise, and the wonderful work that his foundation does on behalf of American veterans. May God forgive us our sins, and may God bless America!
My grandfather served in the US Army during WW1 over in France, my father was in the US Navy, my sister was in the US Air Force, my nephew was in the US Army, in other words I had a lot of family who served in the military. I am so very proud of everyone of them.
My grandfather served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, and nearly lost his life when his submarine was attacked. It’s been 7 years since he passed, so hearing the Navy hymn brings back all of the fond memories I had with him. Anchors Aweigh Pap ⚓️💙🇺🇸
Makes me glad that I'm an American, even though we are going through hard times.I believe God will get us through the hard times,we have to keep strong. To all the men and women that served or are serving, thanks for what you do! God Bless You! .C.M.
Honestly seeing American people singing along puts tears in my eyes so proud to see such a appreciative country for the military and I’m not even American❤️
Both of my Grandfathers served in the navy, my grand uncle served in Vietnam, 2 of my great grandfathers served in WWII and my oldest great grandfather served in WWI. I also have descendants that served in The revolutionary war. This really hit home for me
My grandfather served in vietnam two of my great grandfathers fought in wwii In the navy and my great great uncle fought in wwi and my gggg grandfather served in the civil war
@@presidentherberthoover2570 Same here. And one of them served under General Custer and died at Little Big Horn. Heard his uniform is hanging in the museum over there. He was a 1st Lieutenant.
I'm watching this with my 91 year old grandma at the Veteran's Home. Her husband (my grandpa) was in the Navy for 25 years, and most of my aunts, uncles, and cousins are in the armed forces. We both had tears in our eyes. What a wonderful thing to see. Thank you for posting and letting my grandma see this and letting us bond over the love of our country and our armed forces. I will be showing this to the staff to see if they'll play it before the movie they show every Monday. I think it would make a lot of Veteran's happy and nostalgic.
whenever I see a veteran, I go out of my way to thank them and let them know that I appreciate them and their service. I had a cousin who served in the army, so I know what it's like to have a family member who served. So yeah. That's why I go out of my way to thank each and every veteran I come across, even though I might forget at times
I’m Mexican born and raised but Pro American as it gets Somehow this reaches within my soul Y’all gringos (with love) I’m at the ready to stand for freedom no matter how much times we’ve crossed swords in the past
Yes, I just found out about his incredible service to our military when I saw a video of him being thanked for his service and devotion to our military. One of the spokesmen thanking him was Colin Powell. He was blown away. If you are interested comment back and I'll find the title. God bless you and God bless America.
How proud ...and rightly so ..are the people standing because they have or are serving their country... I'm a very proud Australian watching the video from Australia ...and feeling extremely moved. Thanks for sharing .🇦🇺👋
@@brooklynlass2196 Yes...you should visit ..🇦🇺 Australia is a magnificent country with so much to offer.. Whilst we certainly have iconic buildings and the Sydney Opera House being one ,there is so much more to visit . Our beaches, country side and snow fields are breathtaking ...well worth a flight over ...✈️🏖️⛄
@@helenpeirce8358 Well, I learned something new about Australia! I knew about your beautiful beaches, exotic animals and of course the opera house (even though I'm not an opera fan love the unique building) but thought you just had desert stretches. Snow is a genine surprise! Speaking of music, so many tourists from Australia visit my church in groups. We have visitors from all over the world but a lot from Australia. Since we get so many tourists visiting my pastor often asked people from other countries to stand up and tell where they were from. We'd have people from over 50 countries but the amazing thing was once "two separate groups" from Australia stood up...and they were literally no more than two rows between each group. I swear that actually happened! I hope to visit Australia one day soon. God bless and thanks for getting back to me!
My grandfather served in WW II in the Army, my father served in the Army, I served in the Navy & Army and now my daughter is serving in the Air Force proud military family.
To all the branches who serve us proud to be American your service is deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who keep up us safe out there you should be proud appreciate you guys thanks for everything ! Joe
Twenty years in the NAVY followed by twenty-three years and counting as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service. I have spent my entire adult life in service to the country I love with all my heart. God Bless America will forever be my prayer.
My dad and I both served my daddy did were one two and three and I followed in his footsteps and Desert Storm and Afghanistan and I would do it all over again
First of all: thanks for your service. Second of all: same. Our armed force are the Epitome of the phrase, “not all heroes wear capes”. Our armed forces are heroes because they keep us safe each and every single day. Without them, (or you) we wouldn’t have the freedom we enjoy today. So thank you for your service from an EXTREMELY grateful US citizen
@@717rocket hey no prob. I just REALLY respect our armed forces because I had a cousin who served in the Army. So because of that, I will ALWAYS respect people like you. (I mean, I’ve always have, but you know, it’s like amplified because of the fact my cousin served in the Army).
I m italian and i love usa.i cannot forget what this country did for my country...and what is doing for all the free world also nowdays...good bless usa...and all who are serving in the american armed forces..!!
THANK GOD FOR ALL OUR VETERANS!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! YOU ALL DESERVE MUCH MORE THAN THANK YOUS. YOU HAVE OUR UNDYING GRATITUDE, LOVE AND PRAYERS FOR YOUR SACRIFICE THAT YOU MADE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
My great grandfather served in the Air Force. He was John Doolittle. Leader of The Doolittle Raid on Japan. This brought a tear to my eye and I’m sure he’s proud as well
Perhaps you meant James or “Jimmy” Doolittle? I am proud of him as well. He gave a tremendous boost to American morale when we desperately needed it. The fact that he and his raiders knew they were going to crash land in China, and possibly be captured, is a testament to their bravery.
I have had people in my family served in the military. Both of my parents served in the military and they instilled in me to love my country with a passion. I love my country but I am ashamed of my government. I love this country and I will never apologize for it. I am proud to be an American.
I am a proud veteran of the US ARMY as are my two sons, my oldest 3 tours Iraq my younger one tour in Afghanistan both hurt but ok, i did Iraq and Afghanistan also , lucky to have been with my oldest in Iraq for his 15 month tour, I would not trade that experience for anything on this earth, while there I found out my youngest was injured in Afghanistan. We all 3 dis our duty for this country and proud of it. A salute to all armed forces veterans and to all those still in harms way around the world it is because of that we enjoy the freedoms we have. Never forget the armed forces sacrifices and those who have their lives for it, for because of them we are a free nation, we all need to come together ! God Bless
I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. I'M PROUD OF MY HUSBAND WHO SERVED IN THE US ARMY. THANK GOD HE CAME BACK FROM WAR. I THANK + SALUTE ALL THE US VETERANS FOR THEIR SACRIFICES IN SERVING THE USA!!!
