I agree about other One Piece content. I like some of their energy like Tekking but he drags stuff on way too long for me. Other than him, some ppl lack the energy AND drag on. Terrible combo. this is my speculation though. we found that caribou is in the udon prison. if he thinks of helping luffy and others when the plan to attack Onigashima was stopped by orochi's subordinates. luffy and the others tried to save the boats and the weapons but didnt find the place to do so. so what if they hid the weapons and the men inside cribou and when the time is favourable they plan to onigashima later?

This is honestly one of the devilfruits i would eat myself. Heck it could be a real goodie of a devilfruit in combat by removing someone's footing or like you said, hit them with a whip of swamp. Personally one of my favorite powers aside from shapeshifting is storage so if i had the capability of infinite storage i'd hecking use it. I'm still wondering if this is my definet choice but it's defintely one of the devilfruits i'd want. Also i think the storage has one limitation, which is the speed of absorbtion cause in one coverstory it shows Caribou absorbing a giant factory which left him swollen like Satori. So pherhaps it has a rate of speed in which the wielder can absorb large targets. I wish there was a trial where you could try out any and all devilfruits to see which would suit you the best.

I tend to see devil fruits as a weak magic system, it works as the story needs to be fun/engaging. That said, I never know what to expect with devil fruit powers interacting with sea water in order to be feasible for Noah to be absorbed, for instance. Oven heating the water sticking his hands in really messed up my expectations.

Unpopular opinion but I love Caribou, His Fruit is one of my first choice for a logia fruit because of the pocket dimension and I love his cover story.

I would have to slightly disagree about swamp (mud) not being an effective blunt force weapon. Ask the people who have been cut or left bruised by power washers and fire hoses, it is all about the speed and required mass of water, mud being naturally denser would do this even better. This would be even more powerful if he could apply armament haki to his enlarged mud arms.

According to what I'm reading up on swamps, as water flows through swamps it filters nutrients, sediment, and pollutants, purifying the water. A possible awakening could be the ability to grow trees from your nutrient rich swamp body.
