Taissa, the actress in the main role of the nun series was also featured heavily early on in American horror story. I don’t know if y’all have ever reacted or watched that series. It’s really good!

Lots of people forget that the nun is not about a ghost but a demon 😆 And a girl with a vision If you notice only irene see the nuns While frenchie and the father only saw the vessel that valak is using😂 To put it simply irene saw glimpses of what happened to the nuns before they died / how they died The first 2 nuns is the remaining means all the other died before the 2 nuns tried to get the relic but failed so she killed herself to not allow valak to posses a body and escape

(Spoiler for this movie) Basically the plot is: The Vatican chose a well versed priest and a priestess that had yet to take her vows because she had a vision then was useful in this case, aka the whole Mary points the way shit. The nuns are deceased spirits that Irene was lead by and they helped protect her, hence why they cried when she couldn't leave near the end. She was actually just living in the past, hence why the corpse of the nun looked younger beforehand. After bringing up the boy he failed to save, the priest was manipulated by Valak who was able to hear about it because he talked about it on its property. and that's why the kid was haunting them, it's not actually the kid. At the end when you see the cross on his neck, you'll remember seeing it from the other movies where Lorraine had her first major vision of Ed dying. That was when it latched onto lorraine.

The Nun is one of those movies where if you don't get it, or understand it, then you won't enjoy it. If you're able to figure out what's going on, then you'll really enjoy it. But not everyone gets it and that's okay.

I might be in minority but I enjoyed THE NUN for some of the atmosphere & cinematography as well as the score. And Taissa Fermiga was great. It's definitely not the best of the Conjuring universe but far from the worst. Also you guys are always so funny and amusing and that Sidney Prescott shirt is awesome ❤️

I've been responded to by Bonnie Aarons (who plays the nun) she's funny and sweet! I told her this character is one of the few that made me yell (not saying any other are bad) but I told her she did an excellent job with Valak, and she said, "Thank you very much!"

Aspects of the movie are real. Balaclava is a real demon in the lesser keys of Solomon. There is an abbey in Romania known to be cursed and haunted

Flop: So the one reason I would call this one a Flop because like you guys I was also confused with the story line and although I did like all the jump scares and yes I was or am afraid of this movie. I do hope that they explain more in the Nun 2. I did enjoy watching this vid of yours and would rate you guys Pop as always. I would like to see and hear your thoughts on a non scary movie such as "Remember the Titans" I think this was such a great film. I'm a super fan of The Conjuring universe, I've seen all the movies and the one i liked the least is The curse of la Llorona. It's not scary exept for some jumpscare plus it's not related to any other movies, I don't understand why it is classified within this universe. If you want to see it, obviusly do it but i don't reccomend it.

And the only way to send them back to hell is to seal the broken gate by using Jesus's blood. They were lucky to close the gate, but unfortunately they're a bit late to send Valak bcoz it's already gone inside Frenchie

The reason why the nun is crying when they talked about the doors/gates closed. It's because some of the nuns were actually trying to protect her. The sister who hanged herself, was doing all she can to help thats what I assume

I did not like this one,I found it unoriginal and slightly boaring as well. It does have it's jump scare moments but not that much. I do love the main actress though and if you saw American Horror Story then you know her from seasons 1 and 3 which is interesting really. She is the younger sister of the actress that plays Lorraine and like her sister she is a talented actress as well. It's not easy to scare me when I go see movies like this so I guess that is why it failed to impress I dk but nice reaction as always guys. The new one is set to come out in September so hopefully that one is better than this one was.

The Curse of La Llorna is the worst of the Conjuring series, while I place The Nun as second worst. If they had kept all their deleted scenes this movie would have actually been a lot better cause it gave the film more substance and character. With that said, even at the Conjuring universe's worst these films are MILES scarier than a lot of other horror films we get today and remain consistent with their scares and jumps, etc. =)
