When Taissa was casted in the first movie I was so excited thinking they would connect Irene and Lorraine’s characters together. And after watching this sequel I’m definitely hoping that Lorraine ends up being a descendant. Might just be a coincidence casting sisters but I’m still holding out hope lol

she def is cuz irene saw Lorraines eyes in the 30 sec montage and when sophie saw the nun it was the hallway of the warrens house in 1977. There were connection leading to Lorraine foreshadowing before the after credit scene so shes def a descendant of lucy. Also since Valek latched onto maurice to find every descendant of lucy aka when maurice killed himself (conjuring 1) valek still surived to torment Lorraine (the last descendant) of lucy as far as we know. I think her daughter might be a descendant as well.

I watched this movie completely alone in the cinema one wednesday night. It was just me, darkness of a huge cinema hall and jump scares. I was so frightened, that two guys who worked there sat right next to me to keep me company. They even made jokes about some stuff in the movie, and made everything so much easier for me. I'm 35 years of age, btw. 🤷‍♀

I got Annabelle vibes from The Nun 1 and 2. I didnt think Annabelle 1 was that good, but I loved Creation. I enjoyed The Nun II way more than 1.

In the build up to the magazine scare, each shot of Sister Irene running down the streets has something in the frame forming a letter, spelling out "Valak" by the time she stops at the news stand, like a countdown. Almost teases the viewer as Lorraine only needed the name to stop Valak but Irene didn't have any information at all by comparison. Loved this one!

My favorite Nikki scream is still from Smile, so now I’m addicted to you two. The way Steven’s only physical reaction is his eyes opening wider while Nikki hunts for a Bible and a crucifix and repeats that she can’t though she always does

the only reason why people jum by jumpscare moments in movies is the sound, you scare from the sudden hard noise, you can even change the image to a choclate bar, but a sudden hard noise on the change and you stil jump.

My only issue is with the ending because, previously, they established that Maurice was still very much possessed 20 years later when the Warrens participate in his exorcism and that is where Lorraine first encounters Valak.

Irene didn't exorcise him or anything in this, he is still very much possessed. Valak is just weak at the end. They only killed a projection of it.

This movie didn’t scare me, but it did make me cry all this poor man wanted was to be with that woman and her daughter have a happy family imagine finding the woman of your dreams, and then it turns out there is a stupid demon possessing you, and suddenly your throat to them you love them and wanna protect them but the thing controlling you it’s making you hurt them. You know it’s not you doing it but would you ever forgive yourself for the pain you caused them? Or this isn’t a horror story in the usual way it’s not scary. It’s a different kind of scary the kind where you see a beautiful family being ripped apart, and a beautiful love story interrupted by pain, sorrow and evil

I watched all the conjuring movies in chronological order (I saw this one in the theater then watched the conjuring after) I really like Maurice and I was so upset with the information Ed and Loraine give about Maurice in the conjuring. Everything ends well in this and I got my hopes crushed. I like to tell myself that everything is related but this is a different universe and Maurice gets his happy ending lol

Idk if you caught it but it's explained that Lorraine and Sister Irene share a common ancestor, Saint Lucy. That's why both Lorraine and Irene have visions. I can't remember if you guys said anything when you watched the first Nun but Lorraine and Irene are sister's in real life! so that's fun that they connected them!

i loved this movie so much, still can't decided which one i like better, though! I'm still convinced that lorriane warren is a descendant to Sister Irene, not sure if i'm right.
