The Oathbreaker Knight Reveals His Origin [Baldur’s Gate 3] 

The oath breaker is so cool and the idea of the first oath and oath breaker being a oath of the crown is very interesting

I love that while he expresses the gravity of your transgression, the Knight doesn't judge you or condemn you. He plainly but gently guides you and offers council to help you understand your powers and that they are *yours* to do with how you deem necessary. You aren't automatically evil like the sourcebook version of Oathbreaker would have you believe. Even the priest in that church in the Lower City, while hesitant of your presence, still welcomes you into the holy space.

Man, one of the games best voices, is legit hidden behind playing paladin, still makes me chuckle.

I'm in the middle of my first play-through and the only time i met the Oathbreaker was after raising Mayrina's husband as a zombie but i didn't know the content that was ahead of me if i did break my oath so i save scummed and had gale do it so i wouldn't break my oath, but now that i know what happens i regret not going through with it bc this is a really cool character i wish i could interact with, hopefully i naturally break my Ancients Oath sometime in act 3 to get this content.

This is such a great performance. The writing is awesome too.

So the Oathbreaker Knight is basically the manifestation of a Paladin that hasnt pledged himself/herself to anything and has the freedom to do what ever he/she wants. Morally good/evil doesnt matter. Simply that you have the freedom to choose which route is a nice twist to the Paladin since their devotion to a Oath is what makes them strong. Sometimes to do good you have to do bad and vice versa.
