This is such a good goal for a challenge! I think I will join you on getting up early and pantry cooking. I also want to try getting ferments into me and the kids everyday this month, we seem to feel better when we do get them in but it has been hard to keep it up as a habit.
Water Kefir, krauts, I have kombucha started again, curry cauliflower and fermented tomato based ketchup going right now. I will start a friendship bread starter soon with Eliyana, it is essentially a sweet sourdough. I should note that the krauts, water kefir and storebought kimchi are a year round thing for us but the rest of the ferments are just started with this goal in mind. I get thrown off my routine and have a hard time getting back into it with most of them. The friendship bread starter we only do in the cooler months when we aren’t so busy outside.
