Dus the power. Sharing the power drains much of the energy. Dus after the whole battle. You do not see Thor on his Royal garments. But back to his sweats. You left out a feat in the Avengers Loki asks Thor how much dark energy did father have to channel to send you here since the Bifrost was destroyed. So this tells us that Odin can open the Bifrost without the rainbow bridge and that in the MCU the Odin force is probably related to dark energy, possibly Asgardians can biologically channel dark energy like how plants channel sunlight

R EMC Odin’s dad is Bor(God exists in the comics and the mcu and comics are in the same multiverse so god exists in the mcu, but he didn’t directly create any version of Odin).

I somewhat agree, but I believe it came down to $$, and time. The average person probably wouldn’t been able to follow the movie if they was explaining the true origins of Asgard. Wakanda was a lot easier to do, it’s based in Africa, people are familiar with Africa already, so it wouldn’t been that hard to explain to the average viewer. But in the dark world, they did a better job at explaining alittle bit of the past for Asgard and in Ragnarok.

But also bc Odin said Thor stronger and Thor was awakened so I meant he meant power or at least his fullest potential is stronger than odins fullest potential

Agreed....we need Marvel to get on this. Odin's Story and what he did, what and who he faced is most interesting. It would be a Hela good movie....No pun intended.

A lot of the characters do in the MCU. I think most people can agree that big characters like Thanos and Odin and Thor and Hulk got nerfed.

@@SuperValdez7 But there is a point in nerfing characters. I personnally never read comics, i come from a before communist country and there is no way in finding comics. Right now of course you can but the time has already passed. So anyway i heard that hulk has gotten so powerful at one point that he can tear universes apart and you obviously cant have that in a movie. You take away everything magical about expiriencing anticipation and catharsis. At one point you cant relate anymore and when you pass that line things get old really quick. By grounding characters you cam make them more relatable and be forced to write them better as cool powers they have is clearly a no no. So i personnaly believe it is for the better

Not really they just showed an old Odin who was ready to go to Vahalla but stuck around long enough to pass the throne to Thor. Look at all the chaos that happens when he's gone. It mentions how he conquered the universe

He may not have defeated Hela. Just as his sword strikes her, if you watch carefully, there is a green cloud which is synonymous with her phasing in and out of places. She may have transported just before the sword struck her, while she still had the power of Asguard in her. I don’t think the MCU was quite ready to do off such a great villain. Sometimes they do things so quickly and don’t put a fine point on it, like the way Scott quickly shrunk at the same time the glass blew out of the Avenger’s compound, explaining how he survived the blast. I missed it the first time around. In fact, it is nearly impossible to see in real time. Only by seeing someone slow it down in a video did I realize it did happen. That is why he was already small down in the debris when he went to save Hulk, Rhodey and Rocket.

@@connorgolden4 Could be. It could be whatever the writers make it to be. If the MCU decides to bring Hela back, they have their asses covered because of that green smoke. They’ll just say she beamed out in time. At least that would be better than Star Wars bringing back Palpatine? WTF? There was no green cloud of smoke for him. He was torched by the nuclear engine and if that didn’t kill him, the entire death star exploding did. Terrible writing for Star Wars.

I mean surtur had acces to the eternal flame when "fighting" hela, whereas surtur seemed to be pretty weak and not ready for a fight at the begining of the movie

It’s not a power that’s inherited by succession , it has to be given. There is a scene deleted scene that explains its transfer from one to another. Even in the comics it has to be transferred.

Key Issues well yes, deleted scene. It wasn’t in the movie so by that it is not canon. And the MCU works differently than the comics. So since odin never inherited it to thor ( we. Ever saw him do that ) and there is no real proof that thor got this power ( because he seems no to know about it ) i believe either thor didnt know about it, hella had it before thor ( explaining ner invincibility ) or it got lost ( because nowhere thor seems to be more powerful)
