I really hope Loki takes the lead. It would be a great way to save the MCU and for Loki to get his happy ending and be the hero. He right now is the heart of the MCU.
Just finished season 2. Man.... those last two episode really turned it around for me. Phenomenal writing. And lets not overlook the name drops of nightmare and the overall color aesthetic of how things ended up
Broooo, I’ve been saying this for YEARS. When they said it was gonna be bigger than End Game, I DID IMAGINE IT. Much love fam and I’m glad we’re all here for it. Enough to make a grown man cry.
Of all of the Marvel stories to come out after End Game, Loki is by FAR my favorite. Whoever wrote and directed the series should have at least a HAND in whatever else MCU is cooking up. Defintely makes me want to read the books now too.
My guy the way you nailed it on the head with what would happen in Episode 6 is crazy! Bravo. Loved the episode and your analysis and prediction. This season of Loki was awesome and looking forward to where Marvel takes this multiverse next. Keep the videos coming!
Im hoping for a scene with Loki in the house of ideas. And Stan lee gives him the power, which is a gift from his boss. A mysterious guy at a writing desk named Jack.
There WILL be some climactic near death experience in an upcoming film where Loki will say something iconic along the lines of “we have HULKS” and all hell will break loose. I said it first. Gimme my damn credit now.
Brilliantly described. Yes it is a LOT to take in for someone who hasn’t read a comic book in 30 years but you explained it clearly, succinctly, and combined it well with the MCU. I understood it perfectly. Well done.
Checks out.. as Mobius told him in season one, he's there to build others (I'm paraphrasing).. seeing how much he's grown this season, wouldn't be surprising at all of him to accept that & create the Multiversal Avengers
I wonder if the MCU Loki in season 2 would become the new He Who Remains, re-establishing the TVA and rewriting its origin story. What we've been seeing so far could have been the origins of TVA all along.
It won't last long, Secret Wars is the big MCU reboot with the X-Men becoming the main focus rather than the Avengers. So if Loki heads the TVA his run will end in 2027.
The reboot is flaccid. Just a soft one. It's because Marvel now has all the eggs in their basket. Just like Kevin Feige wants. There will still be Avengers along with X-Men, Defenders, Midnight Sons etc. With the strikes over, the writing will be much better too. It's gonna be a crazy next 5-6 years.
Son son son, when he gained the ability to control his time slipping and he said "I can re-write the story" I broke my tv remote in excitement.. mind you I watched invincible right before so I'm so damn hyped right now.. if they make loki avenger prime I'll break another remote
that last bit would work perfectly for an adaptation of the time runs out arc where a group of avengers tries to handle the incursions while the multiversal ones fight the cabal(or the kangs in the mcu) to then wrap it up with the classic doomreed battle from the hickman comics
I'm here after watching the Loki finale. It's awesome how story writers came up up with this and even more so you for you to identify it. Loki is like the Watcher. 🎉❤
This is amazing, maybe this means we are going to get OG Gamora, Iron man, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch and Captain America back for Secret Wars and maybe T'challa/ Black Panther (wishful thinking and I doubt that will happen)
I was thinking after everything plays out that Loki will again end up back where he who remains is and instead of killing Sylvie just remove her from there and work together w kang to keep order. But instead your theory of turning the machine off that’s also interesting
This whole scenario reminds me of the trolly problem. You can kill one person to save a whole bunch or don’t but kill everyone else. One is the female Loki. The whole bunch are the tva plus timelines. Everyone thinks they have to choose one of those sides but the solution is simple … Sacrifice yourself.
Wait, does this mean Loki can now use Thor's hammer? Not that he needs it now but it would be nice to see Thor's face if he picks it up. He'd be the last person Thor would expect to wield it.
He also can actually jump back and forth along the “Sacred timeline”.. him saying I can change the story means now that he can make changes to the past and it doesn’t create a new branched timeline but rather changing/altering the sacred timeline
I just watched episode 5 and I think you're 100% spot on. Sylvie said to him in the bar, "you need to write your own story now, we all do." So, I mean, yeah, you right. Edit. And the episode just ended. Okay I wrote this comment before I heard him say that last line. That's so spot on now feel like it's a red herring. I hope not tho.
7:10 I'd argue that's not a problem. As owner of time, he can see all scenarios in time and the multiverse and thus knows everything that could possibly ever happen.
Maybe they will do something like Loki tries to time slip back to stop Sylvie from killing He Who remains, but he can't because it has already happened, because He Who Remains said that if he dies then everything will repeat itself, so the Multiversal War and things like that will happen again and in the end He Who Remains will be back on his throne pruning the timelines and all that, so if you stop stuff, then it will break the loop and it will destroy everything, so maybe it has to happen.
