Seeing Posidon's# 1 son with a bandaid over his wounded eye is hilarious! Kudos and Congrats to Ian Timothy for compressing this age old epoch into less then a 6 minute animation!!!!!! I hope, like some of the other comment writers who discovered this world class quality production before me that I will be forgiven for any typos or mis-spelling that may have happened in my anxiousness to join in the community of Homer's Odyssey fans.
Bless you. I made the mistake of telling my 5 year old about the cyclops and how Odysseus said his name was "nobody" and he wouldn't leave me alone about this story. This was perfect.
Calypso's island is Ogygia. Athena takes the form of a sea-eagle, a man or mentor, and apparently whatever she wants because it's part of being a goddess. So bend over Telemachus? Don't forget Hermes gives Odysseus Moly, that's why he didn't turn into a Chauvinistic pig?

What would happen if odysseus had also a daughter and she followed him in Troy and they live together those adventures from Cicones to Thrinacia where she loses her life and leaves her dad distraught.
well in a story King Arthur ['quest for camelot] is Odysseus and Alice [alice in wonderland] is his daughter who he takes to Troy since she was a newborn baby till her first birthday. When the war ended she wanted to become a knight like her father the king is but her father stops her fearing for her uselessly she pleads to him to let her but he says: I can't do that my precious daughter i don't wanna lose you. When she was 2 year old she watched her father fight in the war of Ismarus [cicones] and she said to herself: How good my daddy fights i want to be like him. King Arthur heard his daughter and pulled her into a hug and said: Till you're older i don't let you become a knight. She pleaded to him to allow her but he disagreed. They left the country of Cicones and soon landed in Lotus eaters island where three year old alice went to investigate but didn''t came back and as hours passed her father king arthur grew worried and scared till he went out of the boat searching and calling for her. His fear grew more when he received no reply and when he saw her unconsious he pulled her into his arms and wept till she woke up and her father sighed in relief and pulled her into his chest and she heard the heartbeat of her father and they were of the land of lotus eaters. The next land was Cyclop's Polyphemus island and they entered inside a cave where cyclop Polyphemus pulled alice up to eat her but her father King Arthur run over there and sobbed and begged saying: Oh please kind sir don't kill my precious little daughter she's my only child. Cyclop Polyphemus let down and four yer old alice [almost five] run over to her father and hugged his waist and said with sob: oh daddy he could have killed me dear papa and i didn't wanted to leave you. King Arthur held his daughter in his arms and said: Oh my little daughter fear not i saved you. With his magic sword Excalibur he blinded the cyclop and they left the cave. and alice turned five. Soon they reached Aeolia the island of king Aeolus where they stay for one month and there six year old alice fell in love with the older king's son Lancelot and her father King Arthur saw that and was worried because his precious daughter would get hurt when she finds out that his wife Guinevere will love sir Lancelot the man she loves. When it was time to leave King Aeolus gave to King Arthur a bag which had all the winds in there. King Arthur warned his little daughter to not open the bag until they reach Camelot. Alice promised to her father and nine days and nights till the tenth day they reached Camelot. and King Arthur fell asleep but Maleficent opened the bag and the king awoke and saw the bag opened and he shouted for his daughter to come and she came and he asked her: Alice who opened the bag? Didn't i told you not to open it?. Seven year old Alice said: Father it wasn't me who opened the bag but Maleficent. Surprisingly he believed her but Maleficent pulled Alice by her neck to show her a lesson for telling her father the truth and she tried to choke her when she heard King Arthur's angry voice say: Get your filthy hands away of my precious daughter or else you'll pay it with your blood. Maleficent frightened let go of his daughter and disappeared and alice felt like she choked on her own blood and King Arthur run to his daughter and held her in his arms securingly saying: Don't fret my beloved daughter i'll call a doctor. It was revealed she had pneumonia and was going to perish but the king said: Fear not my beloved daughter i won't let you die i won't allow you to die. At Laestrygonians island eight year old alice was learning how to dance but a native woman tried to eat her but King Arthur saved his daughter from being eaten and scolded her fatherly and soon they left. At Aeaea Circe's island Nine year old alice who trained to become a knight at first was about to be turned into a pig by Circe but her father's magic sword saved her life before she could turn into a pig and he threatened circe that he will kill her if she touches his daughter again and they stayed for one year. At Underworld ten year old alice was hiding behind her father's back as she saw his mother,Teireseus,Achilles,Ajax,Agamemnon. King Arthur comforted his daughter saying: Do not fear beloved daughter i'm here i'll protect you. They briefly returned to circe's island where Alice is pleased to see her father find a new wife and is training to become a knight but she asks her dad: Oh father do we really have to go back to Camelot?. King Arthur sighed and pulled his daughter into a hug and said:I'm afraid we must dear daughter there's a meeting in there. They pass the sirens tied on a mast and alice age 11 whimpered hiding near her father. Scylla and Kharybdis was easy because her singing stop the monsters from eating them but at Thrinacia the King of sun killed the knights and alice leaving king arthur to mourn for his 13 year old daughter.
wait, so if the guy's boat was destroyed by Poseidon (the god of WATER) than why was it struck by lightning? If it was struck by lightning than it would be destroyed by ZEUS god of thunder
