I saw an article about the robot racism thing and the most prominent examples of white robots they gave were from the films Wall-E and I, Robot. BOTH those robots had designs inspired by the mid-00s Apple design ethos where everything was white and featured some degree of translucency. Nothing to do with race.

The argument is that white people have benefitted from systematic racism in the past which disenfranchises minority groups today. The issue with this is that it ignore entirely other factors such as culture of the groups, what constitutes "privilege" vs hard work ethic, neglecting the fact whites make up the majority in the country and therefore are more likely to have success, etc.

"Point of Privilege" is a statement in a list of rules designed to help meetings work more effectively. POP is meant to be an interjection that can be stated at any time. It's supposed to be used to limit distractions like the room being too hot or a loud fan. (I only know about this because there was an attempt to introduce these rules into my school's student council)

If you think Australia is bad with similar sounding names, come to Pennsylvania. Our state stole the names of every town from across the globe and they even used repeats. We have Mount Bethel (which people divide into Mt. Bethel and upper Mt. Bethel), Bethel, and Bethlehem. Also Bushkill Township, and a town called Bushkill. Nazareth, which is upper, lower, and just Nazareth. Or the valleys: lehigh valley, lebanon valley, cherry valley, saucon valley, center valley. Heat vegetable oil to medium-high. Put in two cloves of thinly sliced garlic. Let em get aromatic and translucent. Add san marzano tomatoes to the pan and mash 'em up. Add half a cup of a good red wine, preferably an italian one like negroamaro. Add half a teaspoon of cumin, a teaspoon of smoked paprika, freshly ground pepper and kosher salt, a quarter of a lemon finely grated for a little zest, add a spoon of basil and oregano. Once all has mixed together and heated up, remove from pan, throw into blender, add a loaf of day-old white bread and a generous helping of parmesan cheese. Blend until all is smooth, and voila. Soup's served, bitch. Drizzle a little olive oil into before serving, add a basil leaf for garnish and grate some parmesan cheese over. Serve this to your lady or boy or dog or whatever you wanna put your peepee into and prepare to have your dick blown harder than the reactor core in chernobyl
