_The Offspring_ is one of the weirdest examples of a really successful band that just *[POOF]* totally disappeared from the mainstream. They didn't quit touring or making music (quite successfully even), but the mainstream seemed to decide _"meh... We're done with you"_. Nobody died; no plane crash; no overdose; just... gone away :-)
Tom Morello No one likes? That's one of their best songs, lol. Maybe the average punk rock kid won't like it because it is a little more complex and dark than all of their other stuff, but anyone who can appreciate actual good music (and not just bubble gum pop punk) will know how good that song is.
Ignition and Smash are by far my favorite Offspring albums. Their self-titled debut album has a lot of great songs. Ixnay is pretty good. Americana is okay, but after that their albums are not my flavor.
+M3RK CHAOS (son of discord) There are plenty of drummers better than Neil (Gavin Harrison or Matt Gartska, for example), but if I have to choose one of the drummers that have played for the Offspring I would pick Ron. They were my first punk rock band and still amazes me how good their songs were.
So epic! Woulda been cool if you included Conspiracy of One (track), Dividing by Zero, Slim Pickens, I Wanna Secret Family with You and Can't Repeat. :D
The more I see your vids, the more I want to listen to the entire albums of the bands you outplay. Congrats. Just as a request, Could you please make a 5-minute video of Hüsker Dü? That'd be incredibly amazing.
Yeah like Hypodermic, Pay The Man, like half the songs in rise and fall, Smash. Yeah I noticed that too I recently watched the blink 182 one and he missed my favorite song off dude Ranch A New Hope 😂
@@joshuapagan8131 lol how? Long way home, the noose, never gonna find me/lightning rod, race against myself, and da hui were very well written punk rock songs with meaning ful lyrics. Plus it was the first to not have ron welty's drumming. Yet it was still amazing.
Can't actually believe people put negatives about this. Awesome drummer and awesome songs done in order. What's there not to like, you homosexuals who don't like punk or something #Gimps!!! Kye great job!!!!
Seeing as you continue to make amazing drum chronologies, I will forgive the song omissions. You rock. Though I'm curious, why exclude the title track from Smash?
