really? my friends and i were on embrion once and we didn't take the apparatus and 2 of them activated at 3 pm

@@adamhtg1339idk why the original comment said that they all activate at 5 pm, after some testing i think that each one activates after a random amount of time, but the range of the random number is set so that they specifically only wake up after noon

@@cakosmess yeah i played with my friends about an hour ago on artifice and one litearly woke up at 1:30 pm

​@cakosmess one video made on the old bird said they active at 5am, but i don't think that's completely true. I think they activate based on how close you are, and when it turns noon they will start roaming around with there light off

@@madre6970 how would they activate at 5 am if the game begins at 7:40 am? and also ive stood right next to them multiple times and they don’t activate at all when im near. in fact, i decided to go to embrion whilst i had enough scrap on ship to meet quota so that i could waste a day, and watched them activate. one of the first old birds to activate was on top of the main entrance and was one of the farthest from me.

Years of practicing coding, that's all I could think of because damn those monsters are insane

My vote would be a Liberty Prime sound mod.

I see another where they're all reskinned to look like V1 and other Ultrakill bots. A third where they're all done up like the Automaton's Devastators or Hulks.

Iron warriors and night lords would totally play baby noises during combat to intentionally make veterans violent toward babies. Maybe more iron warriors since night lords would prefer not to fight at all.

Well CANONICALLY it's because an in-universe song referenced them in a song called "Old Birds" which represented them flying planet to planet as a flock of geese. But Free Bird is funnier so idgf thats better.

They went to a secret moon called 5-Embrion, of which the outside entities consist of A *LOT* of Old Birds. Edit: I have witnessed a Forest Keeper and an Earth Leviathan spawning there, so I don't know exactly the spawn rates. That doesn't change the fact that Embrion has tons of Old Birds.

Theyre on a specific moon that always spawns that many. On any other moon only a single one can spawn and even then its incredibly rare.
