It either gave us a glimpse of what Ultra Necrozma would look like when it was first announced in March 2017, or it's a reminiscent of the "Dialkia" statue which is found on the easternmost plaza of Eterna City.
Arceus being god almighty could definetly get a variant as god is different in many region but act in similar way. That would be one way to not make it old
"A" legendary for sure. Also, funny how if you would turn the fox statue it would make a "C". Also, it's a stretch, but if the other statue had a cloak that billowed it might look like a "B"... just saying 2:16
The A probably stands for Azoth. In oras in the delta episode magma admin courtney talks about what happened 3000 years ago and that she wants to use the rocket filled with all the life energy to make that happen again. She talks about fixing project azoth. Like reverting the planet to its original state to create a new better world. By the way the delta episode has so much interesting stuff to talk about.
Delta episode has a lot of lore I wish ttar would look up birdkeeper Toby’s video on the theory of everything Pokémon it has a lot of lore that connects with todays games
So glad someone mentioned this azoth could very well be az, real name or why he calls, himself that, it's also very much like azathoth from lovecraft, the sleeping god who when awakened the world ends
@@Ethan-ls7fu azoth azathoth and Thoth the Atlantean, what’s crazy is ttar did say that Atlantis was in gen 9s code I wonder if Pokémon has always been about Atlantis some say the entire world is Atlantis
A few observations: Its upper body reminds me of the withered tree Xerneas slumbers in. Further supporting the theory it combines Xerneas and Yveltal’s powers. Rather than the ‘a’ being the tree itself, it could be a self serving agitator leeching from the world tree. A counterpart to Zygarde, who seeks to keep the life and death cycle in ecological balance. The being that causes conflict between Xerneas and Yveltal, releasing enough life energy to power the ultimate weapon.
The statue is a person or perhaps a human shaped Pokemon. The top is the head with face and hair, the next bit down is the shoulders with some kind of clothing flipping out, arms extend out of the sleeves of that clothing and are holding the sword in front of it with the sword planted in the ground. The bits behind it are some kind of hair or possibly part of the clothing like a cape. It's wearing a dress or robe with a high collar and large sleeves. Could very well be the "A" legendary or possibly some Queen from the old kingdom. Very interested in seeing if this actually has any representation in Z-A.
What if the A in "Pokemon Z-A" is a delta ? (Δ) And also, what a coincidence that in Norse mythology, there are two ravens (Huginn and Muninn) that fly around Odin, which is like some kind of god, and there are two wolves (Geri and Freki) that accompany Odin, so maybe, since Pokemon Z-A is situated in Northern France, which has also been the location of many Viking raids and even a Viking kingdom (Kingdom of Normandy), it could make sense that the A legendary/trainer represents Odin, and that the sparrow/raven and the wolf are like, companions to him. Edit : What's also funny is that Zygarde is based on Jormugandr, Xerneas is based on Yggdrasil, and Yveltal is based on the bird that sits on Yggdrasil. All three are said to be sons of Loki, which could be the A legendary.
I don't think I've ever noticed the sword before. Either you're right about it being a person, it's a statue depicting a Pokémon, or it will remain an unsolved mystery.
@@skitsschist11 I have no idea. It's been a long time since X/Y came out. The community would either need to go through the "records" of X/Y data miners or simply data mine the games again to see if the model of the statue has a significant name listed in the game files of any language.
The statue is, very obviously, one of the many leftover assets of the scrapped alien plot. It's literally a super tall, alien-looking human (or, more accurately, a human-looking alien).
I consider myself pretty up on my Pokémon knowledge and I’d never heard of this scrapped plot until this comment. I’m surprised I’ve not seen more Pokétubers talk about this.
@@jmaldonado790 There was a leak on 4chan in early 2014, a bit after XY was released, but before ORAS was announced (I believe it was posted in March of 2014, but for sure before May) that was talking about a scrapped alien plot for XY, Team Flare being aliens landed on earth to destroy it, essentially "Men In Black" in concept, AZ being the first of their kind to visit earth with the same intent 3000 years ago, but had a change of heart, due to meeting his Floette, Lysandre being the same person as Sycamore, just another personality, stuff like that. It also had other things that ended up becoming real in later games. The aliens came in the form of Ultra Beasts in Gen 7, the fact that Gym Leaders were meant to be sports related came in Gen 8 with the stadiums, Gourgeist sizes (that were stated to be meant for many more, if not all Pokemon) came first in Let's Go and later on in all the Switch game in some way, riding Pokemon being way more relevant, which, again, became a thing in Gen 7 and then PLA and SV and other stuff like that. It also stated that Chesnaught, Delphox and Greninja were meant to have Steel, Fairy and Dark as their secondary types, the three types that were added post Gen 1 and the original 15, Floette being a single stage Pokemon and also part Grass, before making it a three-stage line and mono Fairy, Mega Evolutions being from outer space and linked to DNA and Deoxys (hence the DNA strand symbol and X&Y chromosomes), Mega Stones being fragments of AZ's spaceship that was destroyed when he crashed on earth, Fairy types being from the moon, Diantha being the leader of the moon-Fairy aliens (which were apparently a different kind from the Team Flare aliens), Eternal Flower Floette itself being the key to the weapon (instead of the literal key around AZ's neck), Xerneas and Yveltal themselves being the Ultimate Weapons and also swapped in colour, Xerneas being red, Yveltal being blue (note: in Let's Go, when in battle with a Charizard or Mewtwo with their respective Mega Stones in the bag, the X and Y Mega icons are these exact colours, for some reason. The X button is red and the Y button is blue, even though Xerneas and Yveltal are the other way around), Looker playing a way bigger role in taking down Team Flare, aka aliens, which he does in Gen 7's post game, the list goes on. If you want to check it out, google "XYSider leak". There is the archived post from 2014 with all the stuff that was listed, it's a pretty long and interesting one and I highly recommend you give it a look.
@@jmaldonado790 I just posted a relly long comment stating stuff from the leak that I was reffering to, but it doesn't seem to pop up. So, just google "XYSider leak" to check it out for yourself. I can't write all that again, I'm sorry. But I highly recvomend giving it a look, it's very interesting.
Talk about Xerneas and Yveltal being the life and death Pokémon (beginning and end) and Zygarde and Rayquaza (Sky and Land). There’s an email about that… 😮
I think its possible that we get Z and A mega evo forms, just like we got X and Y forms for those games. Maybe Z forms are tied to Zygrade in some way and A megas are linked to the A legendary
Dude. All three statues look like Pokémon. The one on the left is closer to a fox than a wolf, meaning we could expect to see either a new fox Pokémon or regional varient of Ninetales. I don't know about the one on the right, but the big statue is most likely the A Legendary we should expect to see. It could possibly be some sort of sibling or rival to Zygarde since A is the first letter in the alphabet, and Z is the last. It could be that we find tons of Zygarde cells and cores throughout the game and possibly have to fight multiple Zygardes as bosses as well as noble Pokémon, and then we might get the ultimate form of Zygarde at the end of the game and have to use it in the final battle of the main game against the A Legendary in order to stop the evil team that doesn't want Lumiose city to be renovated. There was apparently resistance to the renovation of Paris, so it would make sense for Gamefreak to make a team that wants to stop the renovation of Lumiose City. This is my current prediction for the game. What do you think?
It's a bit similar to the golden dragon statue in the Unovan League where you fight Iris too. Considering B2W2 and XY we're being developed at the same time makes me think this connection could be plausible.
Maybe the statues are (were) draft artwork from X/Y or previous games that were refined as something that now looks a lot different. It makes for a great way to throw off people looking for something that has meaning.
If they mean anything, the dog statue could be Zygarde 10%, the human figure likely a human, and the big statue given making both an X and Y shape could be the true master with Zygarde being a countering their abilities rather than wielding both. I think if Xerneas take the form of a Tree while Yveltal takes the form of a Seed, the Legendary would be a Dragon/Grass-type, master of both Life and Death.
I had always assumed the statue in the chamber before Diantha's room was more of a conglomeration. Something meant to represent a lot of things, particularly the kingdom and its legends or how they imagined the legends. Realistically though, I think it's just there for they X/Y esthetic. Its body is shaped like a Y, with the appendages on the lower half making it resemble an X as well, so it's probably not any deeper than that.
its the pokemon version of joan of arc. Significant french figure and this figure is holding a sword in front and hair similarly cut to how they depicted joan.
I think it’s possible that Xerneas and Yveltal are awake at this time. Lysandre had them in their sleeping state. I think they only woke up because their power was being drained by the ultimate weapon
This and lunala make me feel like there is a MUCH more significant role for Olympia in pokemon. The details in her show her as much more important than we saw.
Definitely the A Legendary with x2 new Mythical or Legendary (B&C) Pokémon to accompany it the way Xerneas and Yveltal accompany Zygarde - being the fox and sparrow/owl
I think it’s almost certain we’re getting several new legendaries, X and Y have a whopping 0 legendaries after the core 3, they need to flesh out the legendaries of kalos and I’ll bet these statues were cut content
The A being Arceus makes sense, if this game at all is a sequel to PLA and ties up any loose ends from that game, it would be fine. I agree it would get old 3+ games in a row, but I wouldn't mind a brief cameo from Arceus for one more game.
I think it could either be the goats thor has. Or a white wolf pokemon based opposite to ferir and the statue of the dog or wolf helps solidify this but the opposite of it. As nidhogg is evil but zyguards good.
I remember seeing that statue during my plentiful amounts of X playthroughs and thinking nothing of it. If we assume the A isn’t a delta symbol and there is an A legendary, will it be a Necrozma like Pokémon that can harness/absorb the powers of Xerneas and Yveltal? If it could, it would make sense why Zygarde would hyper focus on it alone since it could harness both life and death.
The statue has arms and is definitely holding a sword. Fantina is "French" so i'd be willing to bet her ancestor shows up in this game, however, I'd be willing to bet it's a statue of Olympia's ancestor. And it works perfectly because where is Olympia the gym leader of? Anistar City. This will probably turn out like the "Ancient Hero" that was Alder's ancestor, and will still leave mysteries about the giant crystal sun dial in Anistar City, since we won't get to go there. Olympia's ancestor has to be some sort of hero that has something to do with the sun dial, and will be talked about, but won't show up in the game
I feel like the statue is a fusion between xerneas and yveltal to some degree or a representation of both of them at the very least... They did something similar before with dialga and palkia
If sticking with the Trainer idea, what if this is the statue of the first person (in Kalos, at least) to advocate for the peaceful coexistence of people and Pokémon?🤔Or, if going the Joan of Arc theory, could this have been an honored warrior from the Kalosian War (seeing that Joan of Arc is a patron saint of France who was honored for defending France)? Also, didn’t Diantha have some sort of special knight costume and pairing with Keldeo in Masters? Not that I would put a lot of trust into this, but could this potentially mean anything? (I understand that Diantha is a movie star and merely plays the role of a knight in this context, but still, is there any potential here?)
I think it could be the "A" Legendary, but the pokemon could like a humanoid pokemon like gardevoir, or even something like a Seraph or Archangel pokemon (again humanoid), in the anime Diantha's outfit has angel wings, so does her gardevoir. also I don't think this game will take place in the future or the past, it could follow a similar story line to Black and White 2, where it could take place some time after the events of black and white, the old file could represent an old plan that wasn't actually implemented or has significance in the current timeline in the game, because it has a redacted file look to it, and I don't think 200 years people would house paperwork in this manor, or even have paperwork, the "A" legendary could also have a similar thing to Calyrex where it has a small weak looking non-fused form but have a Goddess like fused form, but could only fuse with both Yveltal and Xerneus at once or not at all.
Check your mails Ttar! I sent a whole long theory about how Arceus could potentially tie into PLZA (as an overarching figure) and the strange Alchemy related connections between Gens 6-9...(Zygarde, Necrozma, Eternatus and Terapagos) and there's also SOMETHING going on for sure between AZ, Azoth, and Area Zero...
If the statue can form BOTH an X and a Y, what if it's some kinda of fusion, or Trio Master? I feel like the name would have the word "Axis" in it. And when you think about it, "I" can sound like "Y" and "Z" can replace "S". Soooo..."AXYZ", maybe? If Nintendo sues, it's canon!
brother the central statue clearly depicts a human and not a pokemon... it's holding a sword, you can clearly see facial features, and in regards to what you said about the collar looking like xerneas, yeah maybe there's a resemblance there, but it's more based on traditionnal 1800s french aristocratic clothing with hude collars, pauldrons and flowing elements. about the flowing, you can deduce from said collar and the hairdo that the statue is made to look like it's standing in the wind. there's movement in the hair and the clothing, which wouldn't look like xerneas if it was resting alongside the body
I know people think its a Pokemon. But to me it looks like either Olympia(psycik gym leader of X and Y) or her ancestor. IDK y but whenever I look at that statue I'm like " Ehhh y is there a statue of Olympia?" Maybe I'm crazy for that. But doesn't the anime allude to Olympia being more than just a gym leader? Like a fortune teller or psychic or something? 😅
