I admit to a bit of sadness as your Ireland Adventure ends. These have been such a treat for those of us who can’t travel due to Covid. Kudos for all your wonderful videos. I will be suffering withdrawal as I do so look forward to your uploads.

I live in the North West and have travelled the length and breadth of this country and been to many of the spots you went too. Its really put me in the notion of getting a wee campervan for Judy dog and me and getting back out next year and do some travelling around the Emerald Ilse again. Hi Carol and Ken i have watched all your trips around Ireland ,You have even thought a native quite a lot about my own country and some places to still go and see i travel the west coast a lot ,solo ,doing photography , but took great interest in your last day in Ireland and the story of the rosslare life boat , and the mexico ,my grandfather Captain Lar busher and master of the tug Wexford towed the fort lifeboat and crew to the keeraghs and stood by for the duration of the rescue. the entire crew of the feathard lifeboat were lost in an attempt in the rescue On 20 February 1914, love all your story's of your travels ,if you dont mind , i have adopted your motto ,life is too short for my online strave cycling platform .i wish ye luck and good health and many more years of travelling J.B

Lot of rescources diverted to contact tracing, that is maybe why OPW stuff closed .

And then the weather became brilliant for two weeks, bit unlucky but you seemed to make the best of it

I've had lots of problems with different cameras freezing up. But it wasn't cameras fault it was cheapo memory cards not fast enough. Speed wise. Also with some memory cards actually drawing too much current giving the batteries a shorter run time. Eg sports action camera run time 1 hour 30 minutes. Reduced to 50minutes on some cards. Although speed rating of cards 10. Not had any problems with Samsung Cards.👍🤠

I've sailed and riden my motorcycle around the South West of Ireland and just love it. The locals are so nice and helpful nomater what problem you have. As for the weather its much the same as Wales which is my home so im used to it being on and off. Biggest pain is the ferry especially since they stopped the Swansea to Cork ferry. Any stay safe both and keep doing the videos

Interestingly the Templar knights were nearly saved by the idea of incorporating them into the Hospitalers, but they refused, and we know what happened to them! The holy Knight monk in the movie Kingdom Of Heaven was a Hospitiler Knight

Yes those square things that you see on house's are usually television aerials mostly phased out now.

The square aerials are a form of cable TV used all over Ireland but mostly changed to online TV or sky, most people just leave them and the old analogue aerials up

Co.Wexford ,where I'm watching your great videos, were planning on our first campervan (hire) trip next month around north and north west Ireland, that's how we found your videos. Loved them ,thank you for information and scenery and advice. 😊.

Pity all the places were closed on you, the Covid rules don't make muchscence to us either Ken. I have heard a few people complain about the Go Pro. You were in my neck of the woods in Wexford. I live in Ferns just about 30 miles north of Rosslare.

Really enjoyed seeing all the videos and your adventures around Ireland. Shame you didn't show the view looking over the cliffs down into the port of Rosslare. I'm travelling over this weekend via the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry and then driving to Cappoquin in county Waterford. Hope both of you are well, take care

Enjoyed your Ireland videos. We are from Belfast & have traveled around Ireland for years camping. Haven’t really covered all the places you guys went cause we only get two weeks off in July and have to make the most of it.we always end up in Achill or Connemara and the weather in July is usually crap. From the north we can get to Donegal & back or Wicklow & back on weekend trips. I have never seen the Ring of Kerry without 🌧. By the way the bin collection in the south are paid to private companies so there are none are left at lay-by for fear of tipping to save money. Some of the larger supermarket s provide bins for campers, other than that we have to carry rubbish home .

PS you can't possibly get sick on the Rosslare Fishguard journey, i've done it so many times and it's never more than a gentle swell...more often than not you wouldn't even notice any movement.

Good to know about the your camera, I will keep it in mind.

great video, i used to watch you on my tv and was subbed to your channel on there but i have my elderly mother in law living with us now so we let her watch whatever she wants and i've been relegated to the computer under the stairs so i haven't seen you for ages...i really enjoyed your journey around Ireland but didn't see your visit to Wexford. Wexford is my favourite place on earth, i have family there and have been back there every year for the last 30 years. Ireland and its people are beautiful they are so friendly. you're right about the weather but you don't go to Ireland for the weather, you'd be mighty disappointed if you did. i've been fishing to the hook so many times, did you notice all the fossils in the rocks? millions of them all tiny little shells. i love the story of loftus hall, they do open days around halloween which i'm definitely going to when i move over which should be in the next year or two...i've already bought a house there. i really hope you come back for another trip around the enchanting emerald isle.

Back in the 15th century Ireland only had one TV channel and it was terrestrial. Wire aerials were highly sought after.

I've enjoyed watching you video trip around Ireland as I know a lot of the places that you visited. In answer to your question at 1'40" the square aerials are to receive MMDS microwave television transmissions. It was launched in 1989 to combat the illegal TV deflector relays that has sprung up around the Republic at the time and allowed for 11 channels to be broadcast direct into people's homes without them having to install a satellite dish. It has been a great journey following along with you. Can't wait for you to get back to explore the Dingle, Kerry and Beara Peninsulas. I spent a week on the Beara back in 2015 and it was amazing. I have so enjoyed your videos. We toured Ireland last year (we’re from Nebraska USA) and you showed some of the sites we saw on our trip. The drone shots really helped to get a better shot of places that weren’t open because of Covid.

Dont know if you knew but they do tours inside the lighthouse and can go to the observation deck and all in all its not too expensive.

Have so enjoyed your journey vicariously - we postponed our travels over until Covid is "put in it's box", hopefully by next autumn. Thanks so much, best wishes ~

Ken & Carol, the coverage of Hook lighthouse brought back some happy memories for us, we visited there when our kids were young. Burger and Chinese both looked great. Sorry to see its the end of the series, will you be resting up a bit after such a long tour?
