At the very end, the Winged Conduit got 15 Armor when Hot Shark dying, having 20 HP and 24 Armor, 41 Frostbite ticks leaving him at 3 HP then getting 15 Armor from Wiltwings dying, despite only visually showing 20HP 9 Armor when Frostbite ticked. The Armor from Shark dying got visually applied but not added to Conduit's Armor when the Frostbite was resolving if you look back. Just looks like a visual bug and not necessarily cascading armor. Honestly if shark lived one more hit, would've killed the Conduit with an extra 4 Frostbite lol

I had to look at it too. The shark gave him armour when it died and then frostbite hit. Crazy visual huh?

Glad to see some Monster Train back, and also a huge thank you for putting numbers on the thumbnails! Makes it easier to watch them in order (even if order isn't critically important for Monster Train)

I think giving hints at what the build turns out to be would be interesting. Either by having a important (not main) card used in the build in the thumbnail. Or a riddle in the text eluding at the primary card the build is based around.

Oh nice, I never paid attention to them and thought the bugs in the Temples were just Nondescript Floaty Magic Particles. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Game is much better now that I realize there's photorealistic bugs crawling around

As much as I'd love to keep the old last supper thumbnail, a new more modern type of thumbnail is probably a good call.

I feel like the front to back problem is actually made a thing by another larger problem within games in general, which is the inability to undo actions and thus the requirement to have some TCG Judge level of knowledge over specific rulings (Even when the game decides to go against its own PSCT) in order to know what will happen without having to lock yourself into the actions. One of the best things that Slice and Dice does (And what allows it to have such complex messes of triggers without feeling overwhelming) is that you can p much test your sequencing *forever* testing edge cases/strategizing, and the game is always cristal clear about what the end result of actions will be (Like the flashing on units dying taking into consideration active triggers like healing). This kind of reverses this situation, where the relationship goes form "i got scammed by X ruling i misinterpreted and lost" to "i guess this is how it resolves, how can i play around it?". Legitimately, all these niche ass bullshit interactions like the armor cascade in monster train (Or any of the doomsday smackback scenarios or whatever in Wildfrost) wouldnt feel nowhere near as bad if you could just see triggers resolve without locking your actions. I get that parsing through gamestates & forming a solid understanding on card rulings/interactions is a key skill within this genre, but i still think that "yeah actually i forgot the order in which the split Truffles fill the board and it fucked up my Spore kill" isnt exactly riveting gameplay.

@@Voyix Eh, the game just did a good job transitioning me from various goals to other goals when the precious almost began to get boring for me. I suppose the permanence of things like base building wouldn't appeal at all as a goal to someone who focuses on rouge litea.

Hmm, what if Umbra had a unit that read "All increases to this unit's ATK and HP from eating Morsels are permanent.", and with an infusion that gave -15 ATK but carried the full effect over? Would certainly give morsel builds a *real* payout unit, though it would have to be restricted to just morsels since otherwise Primordium stat machine go brr and break everything lol

I think this builds off your point about crappy Banner units in Umbra, which is true, but I'd go one step further and say even more that Gorge effects themselves are the bigger problem imo. Almost nothing has a scaling Gorge effect other than Penumbra, who can't be upgraded at shops, Overgorger, who's big, expensive and Frail, yet still quite good as we saw, and Morsel-made, who's the best Umbra unit hands down. however, all of these are banner units are Rares, so you can't rely on them showing up.

ya the 2 most common umbra banner units feel like they're meant to be there to tank, but tank for what? before the divinity they could get away with it since you could just throw morsels at them and build a big guy that kills seraph, but things are a lot faster now

Morsel-Made's infusion isnt that bad imo.. it solves your morselfeeding / fuel problems on fights where morsels get killed easily.. also.. when you have an abundance of morsels its easy to get them all into your unit. But in general, yeah.. their infusions are pretty shit.

I've infused Morsel-Made into Shadoweater before and it was good. I put a self-infused morsel master in the same floor and it was doing 40 damage to all units for each morsel played.
