Some things I noticed that may want to take note of: -vs Omni man/lao, if he does the setup with low hat and the upper cut Vstance, try to armor skydrop or use EX Green portal immediately so at least you trade hits, rather than let Omni be safe off the Setup and get up close -with rain, I’d say when he’s in the rain god stance, skydrop is best answer to trade. Sometimes the bubble projectile he throws out from it tracks/target if you’re too close, but if you’re right above him with skydrop it’ll work better than s4. -obviously rain doesn’t have the best projectiles full screen in a spam war, so keep the pressure on with purple skulls. I’d also say his armor is pretty meager, as you can jump it or bait him, but depending on the kameo rain is using they can make it safe -rains down 3 (long range water poke) is -12 on block , but has good cancel advantage into his specials like the geysers or cancels he can do. I’ll have to take a look at him more since the last patch
vs rain - he gets absolutely wrecked by quan's purple skulls. I saw he was flawless blocking the straight ones a bit, but I think you had the right idea by varying it up with the overhead one to mix up his timing. I like to keep rain at a distance with quan because he's going to beat you pretty badly with his buttons up close. Other than that, you want to challenge his cancels which I thought you were doing pretty well. I know you're partial to shujinko, but it's a tough matchup against rain cause he doesn't offer a whole lot. There were a few times where you'd catch him with a S4, and with Sareena, that would go into a full 40%. Unfortunately without her though, at best its a bonecage setup or a S4 into sky drop.
