Oh man I just realized that they could have put a light on the top and we could have clipped it to a baseball hat, with speaker and mic that would have been knocking it out of the park.
Was thinking the same thing when I saw the microphone on the bottom. Best place for this is on a hat visor. Add an ultra bright light and this would really have some appeal. The down side of this speaker style seems to be the size. Hard to accept that it puts out quality sound at volume being so small. I have been using a JBL Clip for 2 years and love it. Long battery life and fairly flexible as far as hooking it on your clothing or tool belts. So to move over to something so small, I would need to have an additional feature. A good high-lumen spot light would do it.
I have one of those. It’s real handy while working in the garage. Won’t come off while crawling around working underneath a vehicle like headphones/AirPods can.
Noxgear came out with this device a few years back and I used it till it died. I picked up the DeWalt at HD and it's pretty much a rebranded device. It's great for the job site. My daughter runs and uses one because it keeps her ears open to hear cars. I use mine mainly because I work on bank equipment and carry a gun and I don't want to have my ears plugged up. It's also great with wind noise
Thanks for this hillarious review on a sweet speaker, looks legit! Most jobsites SAFETY won't allow trades to blast our boomboxes! And they frown on the use of headphones too! This looks discreet and hands-free, AWESOME!👊🏼
Impressive. It really doesn’t need any extra features. Put your phone in a pocket all nice an secure like, then this can drop off a scissor or cherry picker or whatever instead while you’re trying to keep working and answer a call. Wish other channels would look out for me as much as you do Clint. Champion.
Besides a job site I could see it actually for work vehicles. Most work trucks or vans usually have cheap radio's so not only be able to have more listening options but many states have hands free laws so you can take calls also be able to switch vehicles & take it with you. Though I do have a BT headset I often don't use both ear hole tingy's as they act like ear plugs and personally I like to be aware of what's going on around me so do wish it had a jack hole so if you needed to take a call that's not appropriate for speakers.
Hey brother, I’ve been looking at this speaker for awhile. After watching your review I pulled the trigger and I’m super happy I did, it’s awesome. I started remodeling my deck today and it never left my collar. This is the coolest thing I bought in a long time. I don’t like using earbuds or headphones because I like being aware of my surroundings. Don’t like using a bigger Bluetooth speaker because I have to set the volume which probably bothers my neighbors so this little Dewalt was absolutely perfect and surprisingly sounds great even at higher volumes. Thanks for doing this review!!!! FYI I just went on Amazon to order a few more for friends but the $10 coupon is no longer available.
I will say Amazon has a dirty trick of offering coupons after you buy something so if I plan to buy multiples of something and it doesn't have one I will get one wait a day and look at it again. Though it doesn't pertain to this Amazon in general does some shady sh*t & f**k many people over & only reason I know of one is an employee messed up and said something but realized it and was like umm I was wrong that won't work prob for her is it did. As much as I dislike Amazon there are times where you can get local for near the price (I don't mind paying little more to shop local but like I got a Milwaukee M12 3/8 impact bare tool for $128 HD is $200) but also you can't beat availability. I just did a brake job and needed a tool local Napa wanted $85 Am was $20 same Lisle tool(USA made)
Hopefully you're working by yourself when you're talking to your wifey on the phone and not trying to hurt anybody else using that gadget. I wouldn't allow that on my construction job. You would get fired.
It would be nice if you could give yourself multiple measurements while woodworking, and then go over to the work surface and recall the measurements 😊 I’m sure there’s such an item on the market that does this, I am just not aware lol
Oh so if I accidentally lose my magent I gotta go look for the one I lost to get the extra one they gave me?😂😂 probably gonna have to keep the second one off first lol
I have one and love it. The factory Bluetooth in my car sucked. No one could understand me on the phone. I use one of these now and people don't even know I'm in a car. The wife has one she uses when riding her bike to listen to music on.
Seems to be $69 again. :( Thinking about it for my mother who is elderly and hard of hearing. She always uses speakerphone and then holds her iPhone to her face causing unintended interactions… constantly muting herself and interrupting with touch tones. She needs speakerphone in a way she can handle.
Wouldn’t an earbud that fits well sound better and be more private? If worried about not being able to hear other people while wearing an earbud than only use one or have a pair that allows you to hear thru the music so you don’t miss anything important going on around you. Seems as if for that price JLabs has the best quality for the money. Idk maybe I’m not seeing how this is better than what I have described
I don think the two magnets are in case you lose one. You can put a magnet on each side of a shirt or pocket Then connect and reconnect the speaker to a shirt or pocket 4:42
noxgear 39g Wearable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker - Magnetic Clip-On Wireless Portable Speaker has been available for years and is great and not as bulky as the Dewalt?
Influencer marketing is the definition of this 8 minute sales pitch directed specifically towards us hardworking men and woman with one intention . $$$$
@@ToolReviewZone 🤣 I’ve just had 2 of them and am super hard on them at work. They take a licken and keep on ticken! I have the older model though and I don’t think you can talk on the phone on it but I believe the newer one you can. You should do a comparison video between different Bluetooth portable speakers like this. I work new construction and lots of people have them now
@SVMSICE I actually just looked, but couldn't find the wearable speaker like this, just the neck and smaller round speaker. Do you have a model # I can look up?
Just bought one and tried it out. Music sounds great, but phone calls sound so quiet. In a busy factory with lots of background noise, I'm holding it up to my ear to hear the other person. I can just see Milwaukie coming out with one now.
If you believe Jesus was God in the flesh and call on his name you will be forgiven your sins because He is God who took on human form and offered Himself as a sacrifice. Be on the lookout for Satan's impending appearance on earth where he will pretend to be Jesus. Jesus was eating at Simon's house (Simon was a leper whom Jesus had healed) a few days before He was crucified when a lady arrived with a box of priceless ointment and anointed Him with its contents. The disciples thought the woman was crazy since she might have sold the ointment and donated the money to the needy. She had anointed him for burial, Jesus said, and he commanded that what he had done be reported so that she would be remembered wherever the gospel is preached.
Nice Video, only suggestion, creator here should turn up his volume so we can hear him, I had to turn my surround sound on full output 100, and still barely heard him. Nice New Tool though! ☮
I think you need a system in it so you can talk to your workmate on the others side of the Work site And not having to ringing Them that would be very handy then I do not have to walk from one side of the site to the other to ask 1 question And then I can talk him through A task one step at a time while on the other side of a Work site
I just dont wanna hear nuttin from nobody and if peoples see me with a nifty yellow deWalt dumoflotchie they might think I wanna hear something from somebody... But I dont.
That thing is cool, but for $69 they can shove it where the sun don't shine. It's nothing but a small Bluetooth speaker which I can easily find others that are decent quality for less than $20.
In some situations this is fine but a professional environment maybe not, this will be a nuisance and a distraction being on person. For personal use I rather use one earbud than have this lump hanging on me.
I just started a new job as a mechanic. Right now just servicing, and cleaning machines. I seen this speaker a few weeks ago. I been thinking about getting it. That way i don't care if it gets dirty, easy to stop the music if i need to talk
This could be very handy . I don't know how many times I get a call on the jobsite. Conveniently when im up a ladder and can't get to the phone in time. Thanks Clint
