@@Bea5rs I was disappointed with odyssey...the game itself is great, but doesn't IMO have many standout tunes. All the games in SMM are great though and the SMM specific tracks are also awesome.
So about that p-switch triple jump level you just played it seems like you have to throw the p-switch to the platform in front of you and immediately grab it when you're touching the floor, just like you did it at 14:04. 3 times in a row and you should be able to get a triple jump while regrabbing the p-switch after every jump
Not gonna happen Cuz its patched. But the level is possible because it was made before the patch (and all levels play according to the patch they were made in)
About the p-switch stage, I think you can throw the p-switch to the third platform from the second one. Then go back to the beginning, restarting the triple jump, grab the p-switch at the third jump while in the air, then throw the p-switch to the spring and do the rest of the level. 10 seconds should be enough to do all of this.
Dear question block, you’re on the fuckin internet mate. If you don’t like the way someone’s personality is then don’t watch the videos you shitmeister. I quite frankly love his energy and the personality he has when recording video, obviously you prefer a more relaxing kind of video, so how about instead of using the 2 braincells you have left to spew out negativity (don’t even try say it’s criticism, it’s just you being a real asswipe) you just keep your big pussy lips shut and watch people you enjoy watching, capiche?
I'll never understand that. Everyone knows how to like and subscribe, if we want to will. Just make a good video and people will sub. Also, these energetic intros drive me insaaaaane
When I saw the title I thought you were doing the "one life to beat a level" challenge that DGR does sometimes. You should try it. It's fun to watch since you have to one shot every level. Probably need to do it in expert instead of super expert.
@@Merennulli The challenge I'm thinking of is a little different, I should have worded it better. I've watch the one life Ryu challenges. This is what I'm thinking ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-blP3zK_CQGk.html the die you skip challenge.
The triple jump with the p switch involves this crazy precise tech where you pick up the switch and jump at the same exact time and let go of the switch practically 1 frame after. The p switch will stay level to Mario's height through out the entirety of the jump but wont actually be in Mario's grasp. It can be used during each phase of the triple jump but its STUPIDLY HARD to pull off. I put that in all caps because I'm not kidding I've spent almost 5 hours just trying to do the triple jump with the p switch once. Theres probably a video of it somewhere, idk where though but I remember seeing it in a level panga played on stream
I love Ryu's videos, straight up. But every time he complains about no checkpoints I laugh with no sympathy because he doesn't put them into his own levels. His stuff is still gold though, much love! I just enjoy the irony.
Finally, a legit hard super expert level that isn't reliant on cheap trolly bullshit. Did wish it has a powerup like a shelmet or coins. Then the 1st one would be a perfect Super Mario Level.
Mario isn't afraid of snakes like Indiana Johnes in the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull movie. Man, many Indiana Johnes levels. Abd I'm really liking Indiana Johnes levels. Or at least those were very good. And the references were so good xD specially the fire flower.
I cried inside seeing the 50 coin that Ryu had to pass many times flashing as he enters his last pipe with his last life. lol. Something tells me Ryu doesn't like doing these runs on RU-vid all that much. ;p At least runs that take too long.
So many Indiana Johnes levels on this one and I really like it. At least those were good. The only thing that might had made it better would be if had the Indiana Johnes theme playing on note blocks.
On that P-Switch level you have to drop the p switch, jump, then pick it up again and if done successfully Mario will pick up the P-switch and also do the jump
1. Pick up P Switch 2. Jump 3. Throw P-Switch 4. Jump 5. Pick up P-switch midair 6. repeat 3-5 to triple jump before picking up P-Switch 7. Throw switch on trampolines, activates on muncher 8. Land on blocks 9. Get to flag
My guess for the P-switch level: If you pay attention to mario's jumping sound effects/ground animation, he's doing the single-double-triple jump while holding the p-switch, the animation just does not change - so you don't get the extra height on the third jump. * Grab the pswitch and jump * Land on the second platform, do the second jump * Throw the p-switch to the right before landing on the third platform * Do the triple jump on the third platform * Catch the pswitch on the way back up Hopefully you still have the triple jump momentum and height?
Hey Ryu, you mentioned a few videos ago you were looking for Link levels in SMM2, I just finished making one that I think you'd like. It's not quite as difficult as your normal ones you play on here, but I think you'd have fun with it. The ID is 9VB-1WQ-1RG or the more evil one (same level just no checkpoint) is 3MX-M92-4WF. Hope you (or anyone else who reads this) enjoys it!
This may be crazy wrong BUT: Try throwing the P switch in between each jump and grabbing it on the way up from the next jump, then do a mid-air drop to activate? or maybe you throw it in that contraption in the air above the coins... The point is: throw and grab so your jumps count towards the triple? Timer is too short for hidden blocks, so it has to be done in one fluid run.
I think the answer to the triple jump level is that you have to use the switch at the beginning and then run. The one time we could see how the level goes on, there would have been a way if a p-switch had been pushed before. Timing should not be am issue since the timer was only 10 seconds long anyway.
If you pull this off...Ryu...YOU’RE RYU...we know that you are not only going to pull this off, but it is going to be with so much style, that even the SMM community masters will cry with jealousy.
That was a life eater stage for sure. And it wasn't even nice enough to give out three 1-ups. Well, the arrow didn't lie so the trust in it wasn't misplaced. There is a throw arrow there Ryu. Huh, not holding an item is the deciding factor there, nevermind then. The snake pit thing is an Indiana Jones reference. I hope we see the P-switch clear later once you figure it out. Thanks for the video Ryu.
