Because in Oda we trust, and yeah most of the casts are top tier, only brainless peoples comparing them with cosplayers

You can tell they actually are trying to make the audience happy and that they care. But unfortunately, I fear people won't give it an unbiased watch. The show is gonna have its flaws. Things won't be perfect. But at the end of the day Oda picked the cast and gave approval for scenes. And fans will sit there and tell the author he completely made wrong choices lmao. This is one of the most hopefully live actions I've ever seen

@@JewJitSuSixty9 you know you have to consider the fact that a considerable amt of haters are not op fans, they are anime fans. I think its fair to say that any legit op fan CAN tell how much love has been poured into the project. Now this doesnt mean its going to be good, just cuz theres love doesnt mean the show will be good. But no one can say its another souless live action or they didnt care cuz, thats would be a lie.

@luisdanielvega99 ohh I 100% agree! You are completely right. I think it's impossible to have a live action be a 1/1 copy of the anime, and even if it was, I don't think they should be the exact same. Live actions are getting better over time! I mean, we had movies like Dragon Ball Evolution lmao now not to say others have been that much better, but the production levels are amazingly better nowadays, and that is a step in the right direction. I don't expect one piece live action to be a 10/10 but I'd be pretty happy if it was enjoyable, good production, and a solid 6/10 or 7/10

​@@JewJitSuSixty9 same, im not expecting the show to win a golden globe or that sort of award. I would be happy if the show gets a second season but ill be satisfied if new watchers get into the world of one piece and start watching the anime or reading the manga.

It probably wont be. Its got the budget of GOT but its a very difficult show to make. Might not be bad, but id be suprised if it was as good as manga or anime

To be fair they might actually fix the the pacing lmao. If you like it I would recommend watching the anime after using one pace or reading the manga. It's one of the greatest stories ever written I love it, but it isn't for everyone.

Edge of tomorrow is a good live action. It doesn't have an anime adaptation but it is based off of a manga named all you need is kill.
