hey everybody I am so excited to share some things with you I have um been wanting to show this for a while and I've had some hesitancy in doing that for some reason and I'm getting over that really quickly and I think it's really important to share this because it was such a powerful thing for me to have happen and so I'm going to go back a little bit in time and so about four months ago it's about November it was it was in November it was a little bit after Thanksgiving I had been hospitalized released from the hospital and I was back at home um and you know doing my best to start to heal from the loss of blood that I had and if you haven't seen my other videos I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and it had metastasized to my bones and the scan had revealed that it was it was riddled on my body I say was because the good news is it's not there anymore and I will be doing more of a video on that Miracle I'm here pretty soon so anyway I want to get back to that time that I was pretty much laying on the couch a lot watching lots of TV I didn't have a lot of energy I was I was sleeping a lot um just very fatigued I had had oxygen um an oxygen tank with oxygen which is not something I'd ever thought I would have I have been athletic my whole life pretty much so you know now all of a sudden I'm not even able to like stand up without feeling like I'm out of breath so anyway I basically was on the couch and I just remember I had there's a lot of support around me I had a lot of help with you know just lots of help people bringing me things and I didn't have to get up much and um I just you know I remember sleeping and waking up and a scripture came to came to me now I have done a lot of Bible study in the past and hadn't really been in the Bible in a while um I had picked up another Bible in like 2019 and picked it up off and on and just wasn't really doing a lot of devotional stuff or reading the Bible or anything like that so um I woke up with a with a um a this is powerful voice of do you want to get better like is do you do you want to stay sick basically or do you want to get better and I was like I mean it was so profound and then and then the next part was pick up your Mountain walk now this comes from a a scripture in the Bible and I have it open here I'm not going to read I'm not going to read it to you I'll just briefly paraphrase it for you um you can find it in John chapter five if you're interested in looking into it and diving into it further and it's about a man who was at the pool of Bethesda I think I said that right let me just make sure yeah Bethesda that's that this is healing water pool that they will that the villagers and people believe that they could go there to get healed and so people would go into this pool of water and it was proclaimed to have healing powers well this man was the like in the Bible it says invalid or paralyzed and so he would he would start to crawl to the pole so he could get in you know he wanted to get to them to the pool because he believed that if he could just touch the pool or get in the pool he could he could he could get better and he was there let's see he was there 38 years doing the same thing and so Jesus came to this pool specifically for him and had and asked him the question do you want to get well like do you really want to get well and to me it's like maybe he really wasn't ready to get well and those within that 35 years right so he didn't really believe that he could um and I don't know if you've ever seen the chosen there is a scene in that movie where they talk where they do the story very well and he he's getting stepped on by other people and like he's just He's just never going to get there I mean it's he's inching into it slow so Jesus asked him that question do you want to get well and I thought about this story when I heard pick up your mat and walk I remembered it um I remembered it and it just hit me in such a different way because um before when I read it I wasn't I wasn't in a place of like sickness or anything like that um and so now I am and I hear that and I'm like well yes I absolutely want to get better I don't I don't I don't want to be on the couch I am not a person that sits around or has in the past and that's probably partly why I went into it went into disease and again more on that I have a lot more to say on that probably in another video because we want to stay at myself because it's time it's hard for me to do that sometimes anyway I I just want to share this with you because it gave me so much hope and I I get a little a little emotional because I believe that it was a catalyst in helping me heal um and it was like you know you got to get up you cannot stay on this couch this is not helping you and you could be on this couch for a long time um and I I also knew just inside like I think I could have easily stayed in a sickness everybody was there was everybody's taking care of me I don't have to do anything um I
