For only your third video this is really well done. Hell, its just a good review in general. That said, I'd like to offer some minor nitpicks that hopefully serve as constructive criticism. A lot of personality comes out through your editing, but your delivery seemed a bit slow and stilted despite the content being concisely packaged. For what it's worth, playing the video at 1.25x speed made the statements flow more naturally to my ear. Other than that, I felt like the extra lens flair from the blur/CRT effect really made me want to see a clear b-roll shot of the R16 even though I already know what it looks like. Like it created an itch that never got scratched. It's probably worth it to include a couple clean b-roll shots since I think views are going to subconsciously want to see it cleanly imo. Just food for thought. Like I said, these are nitpicks, but hopefully you'll find them useful as feedback. If not, just ignore it bro. You made a useful review video that was informative AND entertaining/visually compelling. Great stuff.
I wish I had a definitive answer for you..I’d go based off of what it is you’re looking for. This is my setup: R16 - Main (Living Room) S16 - Travel (In Sling) B16 - Desk (alt. Main) Good luck.
If you play laid back, like the way shown in my S16 review, they’re pretty even. Although, not optimal, in order to play comfortably, they both require you either playing laid back, on a surface, or on lap and upright with the aid of a book/folder/etc.. The R16 is tough to beat. Outside of portability, it has everything.
