If you are having trouble with your vinaigrette emulsions breaking, you can add a dab of mayo. The mayo is emulsified and helps the entire thing keep structure 👌
@@maxsilbert not really. Plenty of substitutes instead of whole grain mustard too. Could also do a Red Wine Vinaigrette, substitute the whole grain for Dijon or the honey for maple syrup. Loads of options
@@andrewjay7962 no max is totally right, youre not going to be able to get a true emulsification without a helping hand, instead of mustard you could use mayo which would help bind the oil and water (from the lemon and vinegar) together. the type of vinegar is irrelevant to the emulsification and whole grain mustard isnt a great emulsifier compared to smooth mustards
Nothing to see here just a bonus short video today!! got the regular long video coming out tonight!! This is the vinaigrette you've been searching for......
@@lonothegod1876avocado oil gives it a slightly different flavor. I use only olive oil but you can try both ways and see which one or what flavor you like the most.
Yes 👍🏻 mine solidified, then I have to wait or put it in hot water for a while . I now making only what probably will last me for a week outside the fridge. The more days you let it marinate the better the flavor. I ad Dijon mustard for a touch of French and Italian dressing.
Do you have a written recipe, would really appreciate it? This is the best ginger and oil recipe I’ve seen so far. I was looking for the Subway Vinegar and Oil recipe initially. However this looks great. I would love to make it but the clip or Short Is to short. Thanks
Nice classic French technique. My favorite is (using the classic 3 to 1 ratio) dollop Dijon, 1/2-part aged sherry vin, 1/2-part fresh lemon juice, and whisk together. Then emulsify 2-part olive oil (or neutral oil) and 1-part extra virgin olive oil. Season with S&P, sweetener to taste (to balance the acid like honey or sugar), and optional things like some garlic and/or the zest of the lemon.
I've had this once before and I must say it was one of the best things I ever put in my mouth it really is that good. I finished eating a salad with this vinaigrette on it and I literally licked the plate afterwards in a restaurant.
Ok, I’m intrigued never heard of white champagne so I’ve already ordered that and the mustard but this video ended up in my feed and this guy is hysterical. So I’ve been entertained and I’ll let you know how the vinegarette is.
That was simple but i dont really like sweet i might add just a very small amount sub a pinch of sugar. But definitely going to try this. Also i dont normally buy avocade oil which i know i should but usually i use vegetable oil or canola so ill probably just omit that too for now. Heck i might add a tiny amount or red wine vinegar but only a tad. Im looking up recipes on vinaigrette cause they didnt put any on my sammich gaw damnnit 😂 always can count on this guy though, thanks buddy
Have you tried the bacon grease vinaigrette, it’s good on keto and I’m not on keto anymore, I still only eat that dressing! I can tell you the ingredients if you’d like.
Lol! The punch caught me off guard at the end. It’s not what you normally see in a recipe video. But it was funny😂😂😂😂. It was that damn good…. I’m about to make the recipe. Let see if I punch my refrigerator too. Not!!!!!😂😂😂😂
5.5 of 30! I have never used any sort of vinegarete before, but I love honey and mustard dressing and dip so might jave to try this.... what would it be like over roasted asparagus or chicken?
My brother is getting married so I'm starting a very strict diet beginning tomorrow 😑 I'm looking to eat protein and vegetables and healthy fats so I'm going to be making this to put on salads. Is there anything else you could recommend this would work well with? Thanks Chef 😊
Just tried this. Champagne vinegar was the game changer over red wine vinegar. Turned out great. I had to do the Bruce Lee 1 inch death punch as well. 😂🤛
Has my latest phone update messed up my viewing experience or is there really no description in this vidya? I’m sure I can make it taste very close, but am wondering if there is a specific ratio of ingredients.
I do mine with chopped shallots garlic 🧄 and Italian herbs I ad Dijon mustard. Ad you lemon 🍋 juice at the very moment that you are eating/serving the salad other wise the juice will go bad and kills the dressing.
