I've resisted the call of the PLOTTER (they capitalize it everywhere, so I will, too) for a long while. And then a very generous friend asked me if I'd like to try one. So of course I said yes. And then I bought some planner pages. And some to-do pages. And some notebook pages. And I have my eye on some accessories now. I get how this becomes an ecosystem.
I'm sure I'll follow up on some of this in my 2nd Takes videos at the beginning of each months.

Once again, I see "plotter" and think something totally unrelated - but this time, I was thinking of a pen plotter - like made by AxiDraw. I was so looking forward to seeing your fountain pens controlled by a robot. Saw the tiny box, thought, oh cool, a mini plotter... And then ...... Oh, *that* kind of plotter again. Sigh. Maybe next time I'll catch on. 🤣

I have heard of those kinds of plotters, but never seen one in person. I think Ian Schon might have one.

I got the KNOX band lifter thingy for my plotter too. Nice if you rather color and a stripe to the solid black one plotter sells.

I have my eyes on a Bible sized plotter so this is helpful... probably inevitable I will get one eventually

I always feel like I need more space than that. I think A5 is probably my sweet spot.

Is a plotter basically a ring binder then, but with more rings?

Yep. It’s a 6-ring binder. It’s a pretty common arrangement, I think. Pretty sure my Day Timer from back in college was a 6-ring.

Such a beautiful notebook. For me, nothing beats a leather notebook that has repositionable pages. The rings / discs do get in the way a bit, but well worth the ability to move things around. I'm curious if you've ever tried a William Hannah notebook? I recently made a video unboxing my 2nd William Hannah A5. If I could afford it, I would have a bunch more :)

I haven’t! I do really want one, though. That tab is pretty much always open. I’m sure a William Hannah is in my future. Maybe next year for a planner?

I know, right? It was so generous. I haven't used a binder style book in a while, so I'm interested to know how it works for me. And how it wears over time. We'll see!
