This OnePlus and Hasselblad camera system really deserves more recognition. A lot of reviewers overlooked the camera systems capabilities and you covered that exceptionally well. ❤
@@antnedavis5686 I've tried many Samsung phones and the earlier ones I didn't like the colors on the screen for my work, and never really liked the look of the camera. I did enjoy the customization aspect of them but as the newer ones got closer to better colors I didn't see enough change for me to make the jump out of an entire eco system. Until they gave me a quality tablet in my pocket 😂 everyone's different and I understand they both have cult followings but I'll go with whichever one fills my wants better
I haven’t seen footage of Manny literally setup a shoot before 😂😂😂 Super dope! The videography and photography here is so 🔥 Manny really can emphasize any product without even trying!
I have the phone...not for the camera but for other reasons. I am not one who takes many photos and I admit that I do not understand all the various phone settings. I'm sure I could learn them if I wanted to. After all I taught myself how to be a Microsoft/Vmware Systems Engineer for over 25 years! All that being said I have to admit that this is the best camera review I have seen so far for any phone, much less the Open! Very good indeed. I feel that you really do know what you're doing and proved it with this review!
I Have The OnePlus 9 Pro and The 7 Pro Before That I Can Truly Say The Camera System Has Come A Far Way I Used The OnePlus 7 Pro For 1y Doing Landscape Photography And Loved It
OP7 Pro after updates was really great. I loved how it had an artistic touch in landscapes and such. OP9 Pro is good as well at the moment. Will switch to 12 tho xD
5:30 And this is why iPhones are way behind. With no control over your basic settings, the iPhone camera seems like a snapshot camera rather than a camera suitable for professional work like this. Doesn’t mean that you can’t do it and that the photos can’t look great, it’s just harder. So a simple software update which includes more control over ISO, shutter, wb and focus could be a game changer.
Camera & Folding screen is very appealing, might make me finally upgrade my 5yr old pixel phone. But... bit weary on the durability. Already see people with issues. Condensation in lens & dead screen pixels.
Please keep reviewing phone camera, this is what your subscribers want as well. Right, subscribers? Teach us how to take proper photo shoot on a phone. Please? This is nice, love the photos from this video.
How is it any different than any phone with manual settings? I've never used iPhone so I guess there is no manual mode? Every android phone has this "pro" mode.
Yeah that was my question as well bc the pro mode looks the exact same as the Samsung pro mode. From my research, IOS doesn't have manual mode in their camera app
Unfortunately, almost every smartphone has very aggressive denoising and sharpening already baked in raws, which is really frustrating. I believe only Sony right now doesn't bake in sharpening in the raws.
If it had a stylus I'd be super interested. It looks so much better than the Samsung Fold and the cameras seem amazing but the lack of a stylus and Samsung's superior multi window features makes me go towards Samsung.
@@thugginndshit I didn't know that, very interesting! I've done some research and the pen seems to work well with the phone but there is no case that works with the pen unfortunately. You can put a pen holder on the phone but it's not optimal when you take the phone in/out of pockets. But it's indeed something to think about now that Black friday is coming.
Most all Android have Pro mode. Hasslebad was already on Oneplus cameras. The raws on the pixel 8 pro are nice, love the control when editing in HDR. I Shoot with A sony A7IV when i'm serious. Crunchy isn't real but models with no pores are? 😂 i understand the video is sponsored. Make your money.
Looks fine.. still I wont shoot portraits with a phone..I have a 50mm and an 85mm ill use those.. shooting with a phone still dont look professional,Manny.
I think you missed the fact the zoom was actually at 120x not just 12x - 10 times more zoom! Its just cropping in to do that but ao os wvery other phone ans the image stabilisation while hand holding was excellent!
I really like how you explain everything about the light setup. Alot of content creators just tell what and where to put the lights. But you explain WHY in a really good way. Light is one of the hardest parts to control when it comes to photography, but are making it easier to understand after every video I watch. Thank you!
