I love that they fixed the physics on Bugs’ safe. There were so many times during the beta where it gets knocked in a complete different direction than anticipated. Bugs is really good, but do you have any tips for playing against stronger characters? Because when I’m playing against characters like Black Adam, Superman, etc. I get absolutely folded 💀
This is something I briefly mentioned in my last video. Because of the removal of his infinite going against tanks feels a lot harder. Here is what I would do, I would get bugs high enough level to be able to choose from 2 perk settings. Make one of them a “normal” perk set (just whatever you think is good and like) then I would make my second perk setup around armor breaking perks.
1:47 for this combo, i have a version to make it true i think. So instead of jumping diagonally after the first nair, dodge diagonally and then do another nair. After that you can jump into an up air or down air.
Bugs main here, I been tryna learn the safe combos and it is satisfying, though not perfect because I would accidentally knock the safe out the arena. I also want to add that if mallet sometimes does not hit at the direction you want, i just do air neutral special to make it go down directly. I definitely see this safe combo getting nerfed, i think they should keep it because it requires setups for it to happen, if they gonna nerf this i say make it have a damage scaling the more hits it lands on the enemy. What is your opinion on it if you see it getting nerfed?
i think hitstuns are longer when u bounce someone to the floor? like whenever i sair and they bounce off the floor i can go for another sair or dair and land it every time from my experience but if they just knockback away in the air it’s easy recovery
only criticism (not meant to be harsh) at 3:40, you're not actually diagonally dodging but dodge jumping, its a different tech but you can just press sideways on the analog stick while you dodge, buffer jump and then dair afterwards.
Good question, technically yes you can. But the reason I didn’t say to start with it is because Dair has a VERY clunky hitbox and is easy to punish if you whiff.
I can try to explain how one does this. I forget what they called it but the tech basically is where you can aerial from the ground position and you do it like this: Hold the left stick just far enough to move (it helps if you aim it upwards moving towards diagonally upwards and press this next button as soon as you start to move) then you dodge while holding that angle of the stick and immediately input your desired aerial. the angle is pretty precise on the left stick so just practice! Again it is Left stick diagonal up toward opponent>dodge at this precise angle>instant input desired aerial Edit: Be aware this will use up a decent amount of the dodge meter
Hi, for anyone who is struggling to nair quickly, i personallu binded neutral air to L on my keyboard which helped me a ton, also holding W + A/D and dodge while spamming L allowed me to nair on ground easily
I’ll give it to you straight, you don’t “need” any perk besides flammable doc, the rest can be whatever you think is good or like. However, if you want to just copy me I use flammable doc, the tunnel signature perk, movement speed one, and the melee damage boost one.
You can get it by going to bugs in the fighters tab at the main menu, then click bugs go to variants, then you can click which one you want to buy and it will take you to shop.
Control wise? You do whatever your UP button is then do light attack. If you’re asking when to use it, you should use it as a combo finisher or to punish people in the air.
