Yes I know I'll never have to choose only one fragrance brand for the rest of my life, it's just a fun algorithm friendly video title. Im a very sporty, freshy, citrus kind of dude that wants to smell good in all occasions especially work, thats where i am every day and for that reason i can only go with Chanel, maybe Prada or YSL but chanel to me is just something i can never go wrong with

I’d have added Hermes, Givenchy, Boss and Guerlain (not strictly designer) into the mix. Price wise Guerlain competes with designers and I’d probably pick them alongside Tom Ford and Dior as top 3.

I’m a younger guy and my favorite house is Jean Paul gaultier. Not the most mature scents but that’s not what I’m going for. Le male le parfum is the dumb reach - elixir at night and le beau for summer and spring. I don’t need that many fragrances

Don’t let anyone tell you that you have to wear mature scents or age appropriate scents. Wear what you like! Haha outside of the fragrance community, people generally don’t have a clue what is considered mature or youthful. They just think you smell good! I’m 35 and still wear Ultra Male and One Million. People in the community would generally say…oh those are too youthful at your age. But guess what? I’ve been complimented on those fragrances. I’ve never had a normal person tell me that Dior Homme Intense smells good. My wife told me I smelled like boiled carrots once when wearing it. Now I personally think it’s a beautiful fragrance but what’s popular in the community doesn’t necessarily translate to the average person. At the end of the day, wear what you like! For me, sometimes it’s something niche and complex. Other times it’s something simple and loud like a popular designer brand. It’s all about having fun and wearing what you like.

I’d have to go with Armani. Except I do think both lines should be mixed as they’re all on the same website. You’ve got Ultra Green with Profumo/Parfum, you’ve got blue with Profondo, you’ve got Iris with The Parfum (Although I like the powdery-ness on Absolu-gold much better) You’ve got Boozy with Stronger w/you Absolutely and Sweet with Intensely. I LOVE SWY Leather and soon they’re releasing a Tobacco. Definitely my favorite Designer brand hands down

A lot of the Tom Ford fragrances are as expensive as the ones from the Dior and Chanel exclusive lines. Taking this into consideration I'd chose Chanel and Dior over Ford.

Mine would be Tom Ford too! Great choice! I see Tuscan Iris as a note in TF - Noir and also see iris in TF - Violet Blonde (haven't tried them yet) I would mention Guerlain as brand!

Beau de jour is my Fav TF perfume , because it can be easy signature every day all season perfume and all that with good quality , projection and longevity . Most of the other TF perfumes are also good but not allday everyday scents .

For me - it's Mont Blanc. Not because they make god tier fragrances - but because they make the best clones. Explorer/Aventus, Legend Spirit/invictus Aqua & Legend EDP/Fierce.

@@V1ralB1ack Yes they are not clones but i feel like for someone like me who only buys designer (no niche) or even the highly priced discontinued fragrances - Mont Blanc seems like the least expensive but versatile fragrances. I wouldnt be surprised if they continued to make fragrances that are already good in to their own versions - arguably for a cheaper price aswell. I can imagine maybe 1 million lucky for example being something they might make in the future & add a touch of masculinity to it aswell.

I think atm I’d go for Louis Vuitton as my favourite designer brand. So much that ticks my boxes. Some that I genuinely dislike too, but the hits are proper hits and gives me a real good range

Great video. As I watched I was thinking I was shocked as good scents got eliminated, but ultimately I see why the winner was the winner especially with your tastes. I would argue for Dior with their many choices and variety, and secondarily for Armani because while they have fewer options I think they nail a cold and warm weather fragrance with the SWY line and ADG line

I can get behind this one for sure. Tom Ford is my fav brand. I have 3 frag in my collection right now - Noir Extreme Parfum, Costa Azzurra EDP and recently got the Oud Minerale. Oud minerale is the most beautiful marine aquatic scent I have tried till now. Want to get ombre leather, oud wood and vanilla sex. Another of my fav brand is Prada, I have all the scents in Luna Rossa line and Prada L'Homme, and no other brand could match the uniqueness of Prada. These two would definitely be my brands for life.

This video is 10 out of 10. I would not be able to choose just one brand. Impossible. I love different sents from different houses to much. Today i wear JPG Le beau, just because i miss warm summer. In denmark right now, the weater is Winther and cold and I should be wearing SWY absolutly but I wanted to be reminded of summer 😁

For me it’s Armani. I find Swy absolutely only to be a 10/10. However, I would keep this brand as it covers all occasions. Code parfum for formal, swy line/code absolu & profumo for cold evening outs, adg line for summer. Most are 8/10 but have a lot of versatility

If all I had was Tom Ford to spray on and start every day of my life off, I know that 90% of the time I’d be the best smelling MASCULINE smelling Man in most any room. And I would definitely have a smile on my face at least once every day when I sprayed it on. My second would be Ralph Lauren simply because of Polo, Safari, and Polo blue Parfum, and Polo Oud. Tom Ford is really good New Perfumes player , But not having in the list THE , Hermes and Chanel doesn't feel good . We are talking about the Fathers the Roots . For example people is speaking about TV or JPG Elixir and they dont even know Ambre Narguile that is also amazing quality perfume ( if not better )

Due to the price point, especially of the private blend, I often forget that Tom Ford is a designer brand! So I suppose they would be the best choice in this case because they just have so many heavy hitters.

Ysl have Y Edp or Le Parfum or Tuxedo or La Nuit L'Homme or babycat but i would be so difficult to choose one brand because I also love Chanel Dior Louis Vuitton and many others so good thing we dont have to choose one but that we can get the 4-5 best from each house we like

New to this and have fallen completely for Dior and have not found a single TF that my wife or I think smells good on my skin. It is disappointing after trying a lot of the favorites. However, when it comes to variety, I don't think you can go wrong with TF! Great video, thank you!

yea Tom Ford has some good ones but nothing that makes me say I'm in love either especially for their prices. I took one whiff of parfums de marly and fell in love with many of their scents. Personally I think Dior blows TF out of the water on many levels.

My chose and No. 1 brand would be Dior, really good lines here: Homme, Fahrenheit, Eau Sauvage, Sauvage and La Collection Privée. Perfect! The next ones would be: 2. Tom Ford: the Signature Collection, the Noir and Black Orchid lines, and the Private Blend are perfect. It’s just a technical tie with Dior. 3. Armani (both Emporio and Giorgio): the Stronger With You, Code and Acqua di Gio lines, and the Armani/Privé collection are great. 4. Bvlgari: the Man, Aqua and Blv lines, and Le Gemme collection are awesome. 5. Dolce & Gabbana: The One, Light Blue and Pour Homme lines, and The Velvet Collection are pretty solid too. 🔥🤙🏼

it's really hard to pick just one but I bet it depends on your personality, you'll be attracted to one more than another. For me I love Ysl fragrances but honestly Dior doesn't miss either. Chanel has some great ones as well I mean you show me the one that doesn't like Bleu de chanel.

I haven't come across anything from tom ford that has the scent profile of dior homme intense or reflection man but that was a tough call between dior and tom ford I know I couldn't choose based on Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit parfum and tobacco vanille at a push I would go dior based on quality and price

Tom Ford for me because they are more risqué you can love a tom ford and hate it but appreciate the risk they took to not be a crowd pleaser. Dior I feel are great but they are just making great flankers of the original hit ie. Eau Savage, Dior homme, Fahrenheit etc. not taking or making anything new but the are affordable. Chanel 13 fragrances from 1955 to 2018 is not great but I do wear Anteaus and Egoiste still to this day as their most daring.

There's was Tom Ford Violet Blonde for women that has prominent notes of violet, iris & orris root. A gorgeous scent & if any man who enjoys scents such as Guerlain Iris Torrefie, Iris Pallida & Shalimar Millesime Iris, Dior Homme & Bois D'Argent, Xerjoff Iriss & Pikovaya Dama & Prada L'homme, then I'm sure they'd enjoy Violet Blonde, too. You still see it pop up here & there.

D&G has a great variety although it wouldn't be the one I'd keep for life. Also, did I miss YSL? Versace? They have less variety of great scents than D&G but I was expecting to see them in the list. I mean we saw Azzaro, V&R etc. I'd pick Dior as I haven't smelled enough Tom Ford.

Before this video starts I'm guessing either Dior or Tom Ford... will edit when finished EDIT: Damn I'm either really good or I've just watched a ton of your content lol I would say that for me, it would come down to Dior or Tom Ford as well but I'm giving the edge to Dior. Dior has my top of all time scents which include Homme Intense, Homme Sport, and the God-Tier, underrated Tobacolor. Tom Ford is a very close second and probably has a wider range (Neroli Portofino, Tuscan Leather and Ombre Leather Parfum being my absolute favorites), but without the former three from Dior I just cannot go on

Just a question: if i already own Dior Homme Original, would it be redundant to pick up Dior Homme Intense or Dior Homme Parfum??

I’d say it's redundant to get Intense if you have Original but it’s not redundant to get Homme Parfum. I own all 3. That’s why Dior took the Iris out of Dior Homme 2020, so they could create another unique fragrance. If you still wanted the Iris, you could get get it in the Dior Homme Intense, but the DH Parfum takes the Iris to a whole other level and should only be worn for more special occasions and when you’re dressed to the nines (weddings, business formal dinners). But I make excuses to wear DHI in the late fall/winter (I live in Florida, so that season lasts about 3 weeks) to church or even around the house just so I can smell it. The Iris in Dior Homme Original (to my nose) just isn’t quite as robust as in DHI, but you’ll have to determine for yourself if that is worth around $150 to you. Go to a Macy’s or a Department Store in the local mall and smell Dior Homme Intense, to see if it smells much different than your DH Original. If you’re interested, Fragrancebuy.ca still has Dior Homme Parfum in stock for $185, they are a legit, guaranteed authentic reseller that I have purchased from many times and have had great success. Best of luck.

I would keep only 2 fragrances and those 2 are from 1 brand))) Cartier Declaration and Cartier pasha parfum absolute masterpieces.

Sounds like DHI is to you what Egoiste is to me. Tom Ford would be my number one as well. Thankfully we don’t have to choose.😅

Can you explain to me what is the difference between regular and Platinum Egoiste? I do not have a mall or Sephora’s near me where I can just go smell different fragrances. Thanks in advance for your reply.

The problem with Tom Ford is the IP got sold to Estee Lauder. Hope that it doesn't go the way of Muegler vis a vis L'Oreal's complacency. There are already grumblings about the latest Oud Wood parfum. Reviews have been mixed compared to previous iterations of the scent profile. Considering how much prices are still going up for all these reformulations, and not necessarily better, is it because of changing IFRA regulations? Yikes. This is what happens when we are not allowed to have good things. Haha.

Tom Ford has an affordability issue, particularly fragrances in its prive range. Joop would have stood a chance if it had any fragrances for the younger demographic. My favourite designer brand is Hugo Boss.

For me its easily Dior. There is huge versatility and a lot of absolute bangers that are a 10/10. Both the Sauvage and Dior Homme line is amazing and Fahrenheit is very good too. Their private line is also great. You could also make an argument for Armani as well, if you consider Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani as the same. Tom Ford, I feel like, is quite overrated and super overpriced. The only one I rly love is Tobacco Vanille and maybe Noir Extreme. There are some other decent ones, but they dont rly blow me away, especially when you consider the price.
