You're putting up great info bro. I'm learning a lot from your videos when it comes to bearded dragon growth rate, sizes and behaviors. Got my colony outdoors 24/7 rain or shine from day 5 after hatching. I'm studying their growth development difference and compare it to those indoor kept ones. I'm learning a lot from you compared to what's available in papers which isn't much detailed about bearded dragons. Keep up the great work.
Thank you man! I definitely appreciate it! I didn't ever think it would be hard to come up with content lol but sometimes I just don't know what to talk about. But I always have to put up 2 videos a week no matter what!
Hey man I just want to know when you're finally going to produce a bearded dragon that hits right at 6 ft in length... Come on, please! If anyone can do it I know it's you
Main difference between male and female dragons would be males have hemipenes and female do not. Once the female follicles drop they can lay infertiles or if paired they become fertile from the males semen. Extra calcium and fat dosnt technically prevent infertiles from being laid. So we have to be careful understanding cause vs coincidence:).
I 100% believe that a female that has never seen another dragon, will lay infertile clutches if they have too much fat or calcium in their diet. I also mentioned that this isn't the case always and either way, feed the eggs to the dragons so they can get their fat and calcium back.
They will later regardless of calcium intake tho? I get you 100 percent believe it. But you’re not the only one with information with dragons. Female dragons will lay infertiles even with low protein and calcium intakes is what I am saying.
@highdesertdragons6674 as I said though, to try to prevent it, don't go and feed a bunch of fattening food and calcium, but it can still happen. Never said that it's going to stop it from happening 100%.
It’s just we need to be accurate with info tho. Saying females lay infertile eggs due to excess weight is inaccurate. I am not gonna be negative it’s just if you make a informational video it should be accurate.
He literally said that, go back and listen from 2:45 to 2:50. He said they can lay infertile whether they have had to much fat or calcium or even if they have had just the right amount. It just happens. Don't watch to be a hater and not even pay attention to the content.
