There’s one that I don’t know the name of but I think the end knot is super similar. It’s what I tie 90% of the time because the way you do it instead of having the wrap the line wrap by wrap you can just spin the lure around the line making your wraps

Double loop that lure eye, and thats what I tie. I always double wrap the eye, then uni.

Polomar loop knot is better for heavy i think bro and its also easier. If your line is 40lb test the knot will be 80lb its doubles the line

I used to always used improved clinch, then I switched to mostly palomar. Then I started doing one I don’t know the name, where you swing the lure around the line 🤷‍♂️. These days I use uni the most when not using a snell. If I’m trying to save leader line switching out lures, I use old school clinch knot, the unimproved one

I understand different kinds of knots for boats, hanging things, a knot you can pull loose easily, one you can’t and shit like that but if you’re tying a lure then I never understood why people use different knots. All you need is to tie it on so that it never comes loose. I use one kind of knot and it’s the simplest one and I’ve bent hooks or snap my line before I ever get an untie

I use an arbor knot to tie onto my spool and a simple noose to secure my bait I like this because it is insanely fast to tie on a new bait granted it has enough weight to keep the line straight.
