Hi, I kind of understand you more compared to other tutorial makers. Could you please do a fresh detailed tutorial series for SF6 (newcomers and advanced), assuming the viewer would only watch that? I know you'd have to repeat a lot of stuff that you have already explained in your past videos, but trust me a beginner really loves having everything in one single place in a well-organized and easy-to-understand format.

Cool video, but maybe it's a little too similar to Core-A's one on the same topic. 2 minutes in, and you pretty much used the same clips, same examples, same everything. Not that I think you can't do that, it's a bit weird to watch. Still, the video is pleasant to watch and well put together, so props to you. Edit: later in the video, you actually take a different route, so I guess my annoyance was limited to the beginning.

As a game developer, i have a question I can't seem to solve or find the answer to. How is it that there are multiple active frames, yet, there is consistency in hit advantage and block advantage? I mean.. It makes a big difference when a hit connects on the first active frame versus the third active frame for example. Let's say the move has +1 hit advantage. Does it have that on the last active frame or the first? No, it always has +1 hit advantage. Which mechanic ensures this consistency? Great video, I liked & subscribed immediately :)

Is the math at 7:53 correct? If the fireball is -2 on block, a 6 frame medium would be beat by a 3 frame light, because it would come out in only 5 frames. You would need a 5f or faster medium buttone, because that would beat the 3 frame light because of the priority of medium over light.
@NotJohnnyKim
@NotJohnnyKim 3 года назад
I should have been more explicit about this, since I meant you need a 6f or faster normal to beat the st.lk > fireball > st.lk chain. Otherwise, you are correct

@NotJohnnyKim
@NotJohnnyKim 3 года назад
That option is indeed a pretty crappy option. I believe the frame data is called attack data. So press start, and in the first pause menu, with the restart option and the start and side positioning options, there's an option called attack data. That's the frame data option. While you're at it, turn on the key display option, which shows you what inputs the game is receiving from you.
