I'm sad that there are brands that aren't (yet) sold at Ulta, only at Sephora - like Haus Labs. I pretty much only shop at Ulta because I don't feel like Sephora's sales are worth it. Everything is still so expensive! I do love all of your videos Gabi and I still watched this one! Also, thank you for all the work you did with the cost breakdown for each tier!

Thank you for giving some love to Caudalie. I found this brand about a year ago and have not used anything else since. Nothing has done more for my eyes. I am 67 and was considering an eyelid lift. Started using Caudalie firm and lift group of products, and now I do not feel a need for a lift. I wish I had tried this brand years ago. I also now use the premier cru eye and night creams. I use the Vinoperfect dark spot serum as well, it has reduced my sun damage considerably. Nothing else has worked for me like Caudalie And believe me, I have tried a ton over the years. I stock up at the Sephora sale and also during Amazon prime they sell Caudalie too! I love this brand and no one seems to talk about them. Thank you. I am so glad I found your channel. I’m devoted.❤
Hey Cathy! That is SOOOO GREAT to hear. I just discovered them about a month ago and I am OBSESSED too. Do you have the water that sprays onto your face? I use that every morning after washing, before skincare, and it instantly takes that tight feeling away. It also feels so luxurious and relaxing. I have SO MUCH SKINCARE but there is something very unique about this brand.

After watching this video, I wanted to make a recommendation to you about an eye cream that you may or may not have tried. It is called Bobby Brown vitamin enriched eye base. It is different than the regular eye cream, but looks like a similar jar. the idea is that it is an under eye hydrator, and a primer, I discovered it recently after Smashbox discontinued their under eye primer and I really do need one. I am 55 years old with lines under my eyes, and this has helped me enormously. I only use it in the daytime and only under the eyes.
Thank you for mentioning the marketing angle!! I have created a custom lip shadeusing my eyebrow pencil mixed with my Rosie ink lip crayon. I always get compliments! I use lipstick as blush, etc. I don’t know why people think you have to be limited. If you have brushes you can create anything.
There are more beauty products then ever right now and it really is confusing. Thanks again for your extremely detailed and helpful videos giving us information we can not get anywhere else.
I live in Mexico, a few years ago a store used to sell ELF, but nobody knew the brand and they do not sell it anymore. Only amazon, but a few options... 😢
Thanks for sharing Gabi. I love that you comment on how these products work on different skin types. The nearest Sephora is 500 km from me and so I have to order online. You make it much easier to decide. I agree with your Caudalie choices. I have been using the eye cream and it has made a significant change to the appearance of my texture on my eyes. Perfect base for makeup. The metal application feels great too. The coolness I am sure would help those who have puffiness. Have you tried the Givenchy foundation yet? I love it and I have oily/combo skin and I live in Miami, FL. I went with the "glowy" foundation instead of the matte and the finish is chef's kiss 😘. It looks more satin or natural finish. I would recommend that foundation for oily /combo skin instead of the Armani one. Givenchy in my humble opinion as fabulous complexion products. The foundation, concealor, and powders are amazing!!!
I love your videos! I’m 58 and love make up but haven’t been able to wear it since the menopause as I find myself sweating more and my makeup seems to ‘melt’. Are there any tips you could give me to stop this, please. I do have dry skin as well now. It is so annoying!!
Great video! Can you do a video with a "no makeup" look using less products? I love makeup videos but rarely wear it. I have an inflammatory autoimmune disease and the feeling of foundation on my skin drives me nuts. TY
The music is so quiet and it’s just used for a little ambience. I am always so surprised by this comment. I get it once in a while but it’s very subtle like you would hear at a hairdressers or the mall. Does that music bother you? I’m genuinely curious because I can take it off but it feels like it would take away a lot of the atmosphere from the videos.
Hi Gabi, I’m wondering about your brows! The shape of them looks like you must have grown them out to reshape to what you have today. Is that possible for me to grow my brows out then re-shape? My brows are not super thin at all, the height of my brow is in a different spot than yours is and I really like your shape! Thank you!
I pretty much completely stopped plucking and trimming them for about 6 months. I only pluck the middle now. I think that’s why they look so different. Everyone is so individual though so it all depends on how your brows grow out.
I just bought the Haus Labs concealer and i cannot get it to work . I have only used it 3 times but each time it added texture to my undereyes. I mean texture that i have never seen before! I even mixed it with the NYX serum concealer because thats usually helps my drier concealers but it didnt do anything. Am i doing something wrong? I usually blend with a beauty blender then add a little more and blend with my fingers then set with Nars light reflecting pressed powder. Please help because I want to make it work😢
Hey! I’m not sure why that’s happening for you 🤔 It works really well for me but this is the perfect example of things working differently for different people. If you got it at Sephora and it’s just not for you, definitely return it.
@GlamGirlGabi I know it's so weird how things work soo differently. Sometimes even on people with the same skin type! I was just asking in case you knew something I might be doing wrong😁. I bought it at a regular Sephora store when I was out of town and can't return it because the only Sephora in my city is in Kohls and they won't accept returns from a full size Sephora . I knew I shouldn't have gotten it because I am picky with concealer but I was so excited. I'll keep playing with it. I was thinking of not setting with powder hopefully that will help. @@ashleybullard1285 try setting it with setting spray and not powder! Press the setting spray in with a clean brush. That’s the way that I get it to look the absolute best on me.
