Bro I drive chimera and I am constantly low rolling like 70% of the time is 370-380 🤣 but if I play another tank the chimera rolls me for 500 at least 😂
I just bought this tank today and its been nothing but amazing. the aiming time is fantastic for a 120mm, the camo is impressive because its a medium. the armor works really well on high ground and the 7 degrees of gun depression is pretty nice instead of your standard 6-5 on other 120mm guns. also it has the same gun stats as the other chinese premium heavies according to blitzstars including the pen. for the downsides the turret has two weak spots so be cautious in close range brawling, it isn't as mobile, it drives like an IS and averages at 26-30kph.
Can’t argue about it being a fantastic vehicle. But I won’t agree with the armor being amazing, it’s situational at best. The amount of times I get penetrated in the turret cheeks or the silly observation ports while hull down makes it a little of a letdown. Still an amazing vehicle, against tier 7 it’s very strong and against 8’s and 9’s its flexibility allows it to work very well.
Just bought this yesterday. First ten games was going 70% win rate 3.0 KD 2.0 damage ratio averaging 2 spots a game. Then the bad team streak hit for the next ten games and didn’t let up and by the end I started tilting hard and playing too aggressive. Over 20 games my Winrate is sitting at 60% and KD damage ratio both at 1.2. Seems good but 17/20 games were against tier 8/7. The tank struggles when you have no help it’s just too sluggish when surrounded to escape
Chimera has better standard and HE(or HESH to be exact)penetration but 122 only wins in terms of premium shell penetration For me I still prefer Chimera than WZ-122-TM because u can mostly out-trade most of the heavies and the armor is workable as long as u know how to use it Gonna wait for your review in Chimera soon Droodles ✌🏻
I really want to like this tank... Buuuuut its gun is just sooooo bad. It misses all the time. Its sigma is ungodly. Basically it seems to never it dead center of the circle for me. Not sure why but it does that to me more than any other tank I have.

I haven't had much trouble hitting where. I wanted to with this tank. I even pulled off some lucky across the map shots. I love it the ultimate medium terminator
I got it from a snowglobe or a crate (not quite sure atm) and i am happy with it. The stats look good and the appearance too. So i will try it later on.
So is this thing better than the Progetto that I bought earlier? I am hesitating to purchase another tank, even though I have enough gold for 122 rn, since I think this is different to tier 10 mediums I play with like E50M and T62A, or heavies like 113 u mentioned earlier
You're thinking is wrong. You need to change your thought process before you will succeed. There is no answer to your question because you, yourself need to figure out what playstyle you are good at. Your question is like asking if an apple is better than an orange.
122 TM is my favourite out of all T VIII meds, if you play it as a TD it's a pain in the arse for the enemy team, and it can handle a lot too, maybe the only disadvantage is it's low speed and maneuverability
chimera have broken silhouette when tank is behind of bush some how even bush is on flat ground chimera silhouette is not full visible for some reason, when WG repair that ?
I respect the review but I respectfully disagree and prefer the Chimera for what I feel is more versatile and better for brawling with its Reactive armor and better mobility. Thanks for spreading the love on an underrated tank that not a lot of people know is pretty good though.
my feelings after 6 Battles where that it’s a bad tank. But I played ranked and after reaching +500 points on this tank I am going to say that this is the best tank ever. You just need to learn how to play it. It’s like an armoured version of chimera Edit: just blocked 5.5 thousand damage with it lol
3211 active players on the Chimera with 58% WR, while only 307 on the 122 TM and has 54.5% WR, Chimera is overall better, it's actually MUCH faster and has more DPM on premium shells.
The problem is this for me: in the WZ, my winrate is 60% with 1.4k per game; in the Chimera, it's 68% winrate with 2.5k per game. For me, the Chimera is a better tank.
imo, dont spend gold on progetto, the tech tree panterra is straight up better. the only ting better on the prog is the 15 more alpha, the difference is like running gun rammer vs calibrated shells, panterra has better on move dispersion too, and it can deal with tanks like chimera easier with the heavy tank level pen. Im saying this because i've played the panterra and really liked it, so i went and bought prog, which i absolutely regret, i feel like its straight up worse, i get 67% in panterra but only 54% in prog.

@@vega_yy talking about medium tank with armor, wouldnt the magnate be a lower tier wz? if you have that tank maxed it wouldn't be far off tier for tier. wz hull* armor on blitzstars show only 215mm, and thats without ap angle adjustments, so 215 ap should cut through it even when angled

Are you familiar with the soviet heavies? Slow reload 122 mm guns? If yes then u dp well in this tank, if not then pls don't get it because it is such a high leaening curve.
While cool, the vindicator is one of the worst tanks in blitz, virtually no gun depression... tier 7 which means you will mostly go against 8's that will butter right through its armor, derp gun which means lower accuracy (on top of the very bad gun depression), huge box hull, etc...
previous wotb player here and watching Wotb videos after like 600+ hours of war thunder, wotb feels outdated. with vehicles only up to the cold war and then the imaginary tanks, it gets kinda stale. War thunder just got a huge update with the latest MBTs the one’s you’d be seeing in ukraine, iraq, and israel, like the Leo2a7v, abrams sep v2, t90m yes they are not modeled accurately due to classified specifications but they did their best to bring the tanks to the hands of the players to give them the feel of modern tank warfare of todays standards and by the looks of it. if you want a real tanker experience war thunder is the best way to go, wargaming it just milking everything they have by doing slight changes here and there to change the gameplay and to entice kids but all in all its hard to connect with the vehicles that you’re playing in wotb or wotpc since most of the vehicles in the game never left the drawing board and were never built, if you look at it, majority of the vehicles in wotb or wotpc top tier are just think tanks and a few actual tanks that were built and participated in major conflicts its also funny how autoloaders are portrayed in this game as clips, when in reality its the same thing to normal reloading. comparing wotb and wotpc to war thunder it feels like a dumb down version of what tanking actually is.
If I actually have a good PC that can run wt I would've definitely play wt, but it's literally impossible since I only have 15 fps in the lowest resolution. Good for you I guess
Shocking fact: it's a game. It doesn't need to be as realistic as war thunder as they're two different games. If I wanted modern tanks that were realistic I'd enlist in the army.
@@epicgamerchannel6230 its not about the realism, but the amount of mechanics they can add each update, since wotb and wotpc’s mechanics are made up they stay same and never changed throughout the entirety of the game making the gameplay same old same old, while in war thunder they keep adding new mechanics to spice up the gameplay and change how players play, like adding CITV, Gen 3 Thermals, the Lastest APFSDS that could penetrate more than 600 mm of armour, hydropneumatic suspensions that gives your tank an extra 5 degrees of gun depression, Laser warning receivers, Active protection systems (APS), ERA, Laser Rangefinders, the list goes on in the amount of stuff they add here’s an example of those combined: Im in Leopard 2a7v (latest tank in active service with germany) im behind a hill, i dont need to expose my self to spot the enemy, cause we dont have a spotting mechanic, we use our own eyes to see where the enemy is. So I use my CITV to switch to different view and scan the battlefield while using 3rd Gen thermals, without revealing my position and exposing my tank, after acquiring the target, I use my laser rangefinder to get an accurate distance measurement, assisting the tanks Fire control system to adjust for the shell drop off and it doesn’t matter how far the target is, in war thunder we engage people up to 2km away, so after poking the hill i fire and pull back, destroy the target with one shot, via crew knockout or ammunition detonation all of that happens in 5 seconds, its finding targets that takes a lot of time, since there are a lot of factors that come to play on how fast you can spot tank, such as poor weather visibility, tank camo, bushes that can be placed on the tanks themselves to make it harder for players to see you the best part is we dont have RNG, we dont have premium shells (we get the best round the tank can fire and use it for the majority of its gameplay without any costs)
