Mike WTF man you need to apologize or maybe even read up and do a video on Drazen Petrovic, the man was not only great overseas, he began opening the NBA to European players, an was even entering his prime to a great NBA career when he tragically passed. Man you can't compare Dražen. He died at age of 28. He had a fantastic Europe carrer and a fantastic carrer with Yougoslavia and Croatia. Dude was one of first European players in NBA. He is a legend and he deserves the HOF. There are great players outside NBA you know 😉

I don't agree he should be sixth man. Drose had a usage rate of 31 his MVP year. He only had 8 games this year with a usage rate of at least 29. In those 8 games he averaged 25, 4, and 4 while shooting 45% and 92% from the line. He showed that when he is used correctly he can play at a high level. I think the reason for him not being signed is the off court issues he has dealt with.

Your only argument about Petro was that he was not an all-star. In season 92/93 he was 12th in scoring in NBA with 22,3 ppg, he was best in 3pts%, he was in 3rd all NBA team and not an all-star. If Drazen hadn't died so young, his impact would have been greater. His ppg while he was on the Nets were 20-22 fg% 500 3pt % 44. They were low seasons before because he didnt have the minutes behind Clyde Drexler in Portland. I have infinite respect for him, his work ethic and his leadership. He will forever be one of the greatest players to have played the game but because his NBA career was so short Americans dont really know about him as much as Europeans

People started following you for your opservations, analysis and spot on comments, and every one of these followers is fairly deserved. However, nobody is imune on mistakes, not even you. :) You might have wanted to make a point there with Drazen, you might have wanted to be controversial and stuff, but you picked a wrong target. If anyone was influential enough to make a clear path for european (well, international in general, but let`s stick to european basketball) players to the NBA, it was Drazen. It was Vlade Divac too, it was Toni Kukoc few years later. Once you guys realized these people can play, all of the sudden we had numerous international players drafted in lottery picks, even had some top picks, that eventually became superstars. Dirk, Pau, Tony, Peja, none of these guys would have the chance to show what they know from they starts, they should have been those who make paths for others. For that reason Drazen should have been named as a Hall of famer, not to mention his international career (which you should do a bit research of, btw). Pick your spots, man. No need to get points where you don`t have a real case.

In my opinion, Bill Walton is in the Hall of Fame in large part to his legendary UCLA career. Remember, it's the BASKETBALL Hall of Fame, not the NBA Hall of Fame.

The NBA needs to just make its own Hall of Fame. Let "Basketball" Hall of Fame continue, but it isn't as exclusive as it NEEDS to be. I think a big part of it is that they want induct "X" amount of people every year so it can be a big event and make money. In my opinion, they should do the Hall of Fame inductions every 4 or 5 years. That way it is a big event and only the best get in.

Drazen is in the FIBA Hall of fame because he won multiple Eurobaskets, World Champion, Olympic games, two time Euroleague champion and multiple Yugoslavian Cups and Leagues.
