I see a lot more of these drag-and-drop , flow chart based cobots. I'd like to see how easy it is to develop a complex application versus simple linear programs. I think UR does a great job balancing complexity and ease of use.
The FANUC CRX series features the same control platform and capabilities as all FANUC robots, but with an intuitive user interface built-in to simplify operations. You can also access the standard teach pendant and program a CRX as you would any other FANUC robot. Vision, Force Sensing and condition-based programming can all be done on the CRX, as well as ROBOGUIDE off-line programming.
kthxbyeus yeah... safety. Fanuc's CR line is largely the same as their normal robots with a green paint job and a safety board. But a $10k price premium across the board. We've deployed several and they aren't worth the additional cost for the sacrifice in speed and payload.
@@capnthepeafarmer You need to step back to see the big picture with cobots. They're more than just a different color. The cost savings on a cobot is realized by the fact that, if done properly, you may not need to provide physical guarding, thus shrinking your cell's footprint. When applied to multiple cells, you can get more cells into the same space in your factory. That means less total costs, more production, and more income.
these are not actually being manufactured and sold. what you are looking at on YT are prototypes. distributors/vendors/resellers do not know anything about them - not even aware of their existence. Dunno why U R discussing prices. Nobody has one for sale - ergo, no price.
