Man you video just hit me hard. That pop up mom as a contact gave me a shock. I just lost my mom to cancer and for a sec I thought it was a text from her to me😢.
I always add one even if I know I’m not going to break it. It’s so wonderful to know that I can clean the screen with any ol’ cloth and not worry about damaging the actual system. I can’t stand fingerprints, but it feels inevitable while playing the switch.
It hurts my hands the hold something flat for too long due to me being a PlayStation user so I'm more used to round surfaces, so I guess our hands just adapt more to what we use more
Most of these “expensive things” are just a bunch of cheap stuff made in china like all those bin box and nyxi controllers get alota recongnition but everything about them is sketchy and lazily put together i just dont get why nintendo doesnt make all these there missing out on so much money
I just bought a skull and co case for the switch for 22 bucks and it’s similar minus the magnetic battery pack. But I’ll just either buy a portable battery or just bring a usb c charger for the car
If you buy a certain bundle, it comes with a wall brick that is a dock & comes with a usb c-usb c cable. Do some research before assuming its a deal breaker.
@@bryancartagena3286 I did do the research, why would I buy an additional dock when I have a perfect original one that can dock with the switch. Hence why it's a deal breaker since I don't need to buy the bundle which costs more to get a dock when I do have the old one. that's counter intuitive. Most cases are dockable anyways and this one not being dockable is still a deal breaker if you gonna buy a new dock.
@@CasmsVR - True, the original one is always the safest but I put it out there only because its a more portable setup. Taking it off the case isn’t really a hassle either.
This is like when you go to a restaurant and ask the server for his favorite wine. He glances at the menu and picks the most expensive thing telling you there’s nothing else like it. 🙃
My advice? Buy a switch travel case for 30$. With it you can store everything in one case. Your games, charger, docking station, switch and hdmi cable. I’m of to a hotel at the beach just now for a couple of nights with my gf. We took the entire thing and it fits in my backpack. We can just hook up the switch to the tv at the hotel to play some mario kart after pool closes. I mean It’s probably the best thing to get. Anything else your small case is good enough. I mean what place are you planning to go that doesn’t have somewhere you can put it to charge? I mean if you’re gone to a place where you are going to play 5+ hours I think your probably going to travel right?
I like the fact that the handles are interchangeable separately. My right hand is significantly larger than my left due to a mass on my palm. I haven't seen much of anything like that.
@@rozwelljones4976 not OP but for me it was a game changer. I used to be able to play for a little while before I got cramps. But with a satisfeye grip I can play for hours without an issue. I know I sound like a salesman but it’s that good 😅
@@rozwelljones4976if you play primarily in handheld then it'll be the best switch accessory you ever buy. Just make sure to spend a little more to get the case with it so that you can take it places safely
I sawed a satisfye grip in half and epoxy it back together to fit my new 3ds XL. I can't believe the people at satisfye won't make one for the 3ds line.
So I was originally a backer for this one when it was on Kickstarter, I can tell you it was a whole issue of just having to wait for nearly three months to get it in hand and even then the battery issues were starting to get reported
Me too. That’s the thing with Kickstarter though, is you have to go into knowing it’s risky. All dates are an estimate and not guaranteed. So, waiting was annoying but expected.
For me, its the Satisfye grip. I think the switch is pretty comfortable to play on its own, but they grip makes it far more enjoyable! Newer version can also be docked, which is a nice benefit.
When the TEXT came in from MOM… I got shivers. I thought my dead mom had texted me. I was looking through all my messages and even texted my mom’s old number back. Only to finally dawn on me it was an advertisement from what I was watching…
I'd recommend checking out the Satisfye grip, if you have larger hands. I've yet to try out the switch lite varient so, it will probably be smaller. Having inter-changable grips are extremely nice, but saying that I have big hands, the grips are usually put on the larger side anyways.
Just get unofficial joy cons not made by Nintendo. They won't drift and will have more comfortable shapes to hold the console in in handheld mode. Your going to need them once your joy con starts drifting.
@@farisakhtar4824 you see here, I have no problem fixing my joy-cons. I like my grip, plus having amiibo support. Those controllers, unless there's been an update recently, still drift. Not as often, but they still do.
@@wordguystudios4.070there have been quite a few 3rd party companies pushing out joycons with ergonomic grips and varied degrees of rumble support. Some do feature gyro and amiibo support too (I think Nyxi’s joy pad pro was also one that had all of that plus wireless support for tabletop/dock play). Some companies are also already shipping with that new magnetic/contactless joystick units that people claim would make them joycons drift-proof but yeah.
I'm a fan of Satisfye. Like a huge one, since its without a doubt the most pefect grip I've ever came across in any handheld console. Hsving said that...I fear for it since this G-thing honestly seems VERY cool indeed.
Correction: one of the best things about the OLED Switch is the kickstand. On the base model it’s super flimsy and on mine it stopped holding after a month or so (and I’ve had it for 5, almost 6 years).
I'd definitely pick the fixture s1 screw joycons, use a pro controller, adjust your screen angle depending on position, and it's an easily detachable stand that lets you charge while you play whether attached or not....no other accessories needed.
Really...I mean it still uses Tegra x1. Don't expect to game in any type of multiplayer online games, you'll really look foolish then...that is unless you can play like me 😏
@@Narwhal12 blud really pulled out the "responsible people" card on someone who owns a console with you needing to buy each game for double digit $ if you'd wanna play.
@@loafofbrave So? All I’m saying is maybe they want to conserve their money for more games, or something not switch related. Or maybe they are poor, but not buying something that you don’t need is okay. Just because you pay money for switch games doesn’t mean if you don’t buy a case your poor, how does that make sense
@@Narwhal12 blud really pulled out the "responsible people" card on someone who owns a console with you needing to buy each game for double digit $ if you'd wanna play.
Allow me to recommend to you the CRKD Nitro Deck. Amazing color variants. Hall effect thumbsticks which means ZERO DRIFT. 4 remappable back buttons. Comfortable portability. ONLY $60 for standard variant and $90 for the limited editions. Best Switch accessory you’ll ever need.
It's blocking the console vents on the back, just as the dock station, it is not recommended to play during long periods of time if you don't want to shorten your console life span, but the extra battery seems to imply otherwise...
I have two of these in black and they are freaking awesome! Edit buy the “family” version it comes with 2 batteries the handles, the case a doc that charges and displays video output, all in one and also a USB, Bluetooth controller adapter. The family pack comes with the upgraded case that has two Bluetooth adapter on it.
Wow! This accessory is the gift that keeps on giving! I am shocked with how overdesigned this is. If I had found this a couple years ago, I definitely would have bought it.
For me it’s the pro controller. I primarily play docked and having a normal feeling controller legitimately makes the difference between me playing or doing something else
Oh freck yeah! I have the black version of this case. It took forever for shipping to get going with all the Covid sickness at the time, but it was worth the wait. 🎉
