Doing a 2,251 foot climb on the ACEDECK ARES X1 is awesome! Only issue is the way back down... Plenty of power and acceleration even on the steep climbs but top end speed needs to be adjusted!
If you'd like to purchase an ACEDECK eSkate using the following code would be amazing.

*Those types of views never not be amazin* 🤩 ⚡️🤙🏽🤟🏽🤙🏽⚡️ Still a pretty solid board, that throttlin back is a bit weird, hopefully can be fixed.

I love that ride, as the descent is so awesome I was wanting to go fast but maybe 30 mph is fast enough...

Howdy Jeff...great shot of the ares X1 on the railing over looking the mountain range...I believe the X1 was only checked @ 32 mph in reveiws so 31 is good considering a low battery...🖐

Huh, okay. That's a good thing to know. I figured on the flats that would be fine but expected a bit extra speed on the downhill when the motors don't have to work as hard to maintain momentum.

@@TTLBALLER I found out the remote is not accurate when i checked the GPS today ...The board is working well for you great to see the videos with it in...Super cool machine..

Would like to see you make a comparison video of all these different boards. Hard to tell which one is the overall best.

The ARES X1 to me is the best as it carves awesome, easy to carry, has a beautiful deck and shape, lastly it has decent range. Other boards are great at one of those but lack in other realms.

I did a lot of speed testing on this board. About every 2 battery icon drains you lose about 1mph. With the 180mm wheels you start at 33mph max, and with the 200mm tires you start at 36/37mph max speed. With 250mm wheels you could theoretically get it to around 47mph, however.

as a follow-up, its really just physics that determines top speed of a board. the three things that affect the most is board kv, gear ratio (motor pully (teeth) and wheel pulley (teeth)), and wheel size. Since we can't change the kv or gear ratio, larger wheels is the only way to go faster. My favorite calculator is rammboards desktop battery speed range calculator if you want to try it out for yourself.

That makes sense. Hadn't really thought of the wheel size affecting my top speed. Mostly I was hoping for an extra amount of speed going downhill to get the downhill skateboarding feeling/affect but I guess it still wasn't steep enough and the headwind didn't allow for that. As I'm usually in Tahoe the descents are very steep so very little throttle is needed to get over 30 mph versus the long steady Gieger summit road.

@@TTLBALLERit would have to be a ridiculous grade to speed up naturally past the top speed. thats why the fastest boards on the planet like raith use direct drive

@mikeyp8778 have you used 200mm tires on the x1? I've got the x1 gear drive and want to fit 200mm off road tires but have no idea if it will work and what tires will fit the rims😂

@@raynman6466 Yeah I only use the 200mm tires on the x1. The 180mm can only go 33mph but the 200mm makes the board go 37mph. I eventually want to try and get 250mm so I can get closer to 47mph. The 180mm hota tubeless tires acedeck sends with the board feel great, love the tubeless feel, but its just too slow. I use the acedeck 200mm off road tires they sell on the website. You wont find anything similar at a cheaper price, so I would go with those. This is actually a topic ive spent hours and hours researching because I want to fit 250mm tires. The problem is you have to match the tire to the rim, but a lot of websites and companies dont list specific enough specs so youd have to buy them, test, measure, before you really know it will fit. For example trampa, lorentz, and acedeck all use different rim sizes, so certain tires won't fit as theyre designed with different rim widths. I'd get the acedeck 200mm off road tires. Acedeck also sells a 200mm all terrain tire, a little less knobby, more street oriented if you arent taking it off bike paths/roads. Haven't tried them though. Also, the 200mm acedeck tires ARE NOT tubeless. So make sure you put tubes in those. Acedecks website is confusing around the 180mm being tubeless or tube compatible. The 200mm dont have tubeless capabilities to seal with the rim without tubes.

Weather plays a big part on the battery. Anything under 35° hurts the battery

I think your supposed to click it 5 times to change to mph. At least that's how I did it on my Stella s3.

I'll give that a try, thanks for the heads up.
