I honestly used to complain too but my friend told me to aim up as in keep my cross hair up. I slowly got used to it and now play way better than before
I know this was a year ago but I’m in those same shoes as a new player now trying to learn Sage ;-; I’m coming from Overwatch which is played completely different so it’s taken some getting used to and lots of getting flamed on…
@@boinico1998 hello!! i’m now a sage main who occasionally plays other more aggressive characters called duelists. sage is so fun to play and i hope you enjoy her! don’t be afraid to experiment with the other characters to see what fits you best. sage is a character who usually stays back to defend but i use her to rush out and lot and be more aggressive than she was intended for. just see what suits you best! the game definitely takes time for some people so dont be discouraged if you dont go pro after the first day :) you got this!! i hope you have fun
I get that this is a video for non-players, but this definitely doesnt deserve the title "the only sage tutorial you will ever need". The only sage tutorial I will ever need would be a very advanced guide of unique high-value usages for all of her abilities.
I main Sage and TBH her ult is difficult to use due a number of factors, but mainly where people die. They either die at the opposite site, too far away. Or they die at a choke point where the enemies have angles. Also in PUGs reading bottom half of your team is a waste since they don’t have the skills to help win. Also sometimes it’s a 3 or 4 v 1 and there’s no need.
ultimate isn't as simple as everyone thinks, a lot of the time, there's no need to use it, it's pointless using it on a 1v1, because chances are you're going to get a lot more value out of it saving it for another round, same as if you're 1 or 2v5 just save your guns and wait till the next round, unless obviously it's round before switch or match point.
People expect sages to heal every 3 seconds, rage at her if she revives the teammate next to her instead of them on the other site and think her ult can reach the whole map
Sage logic: 90 HP: don’t worry i’ll heal you 50 HP: SAGE HEAL!!!!! Sage: what i can’t hear you 10 HP: here i’ll heal you RIGHT in front of the enemys so i can waste my ability.
I am a sage main that's not even ranked yet, of course since I've started just 1 week ago and barely playing, this has helped me a lot from level 5 to level 16 in small time, always top fragging too, this helped me a lot I recommend it!
Hey Proguides Valorant! My friend Shayan found your video very helpful and said that his favorite map is the Icebox! He has been addicted to playing Sage since release and found your video very helpful! I want you to know that he took the advice to heart and appreciates the hard work that you guys put in your videos. Thanks to this video, he promoted from Iron 1 to Iron 2 in only 30 games. Keep up the great work!
This is more of an agent spotlight + wall guide. It's far from being the only guide I'll ever need but thanks for the effort, it's a good video non the less.
You can boost Jett to look A LONG in Haven MAP (It's a bug.). Also you can boost yourself double doors and look from the small gap at the top of the doors. You can rush, show yourself after that you heal yourself and enemy thinks you are low HP but you're not. It's very good.
I like bind because haven is a nightmare to defend. And you always defend/attack the same angles on split. I like that bind has that versatility on any side
I like Ascent because I am a sage main and there are a lot of grim and normal walls you can do and also the like the map because it looks good like every single spot of the map i love it. Thanks for the guide brother, keep it up
I'm a sage main, previously playing csgo or css before. I played comp css for years in EAS1 second highest league in Esl before csgo released and played on supreme level in csgo for some time. Didn't play anything for 5 years at all when valorant closed beta released and started csgo again for 2 weeks. I'm not at all on the level i was in the past, stuck in bronze solo q. But I'm experiencing players insta locking sage not knowing anything about her often. Same with Phoenix or Jett, dont wanna say those are easy to play, but they are friendlier to beginners, but hard to master. I thought Sage was the same, but she isn't as what im seeing 🤦🏽♂️
Porpoise you need to work on your reading comprehension... Him: “The sound of them WALKING is no longer a thing.” You: “It still has sound when they are running, just not walking.” Bro what? You’re correcting his correct statement by saying the same correct thing. 🤣
This is helpful even if it old, I want something like a free roam to test ability on actual maps... It's not always comfortable to test things in a on game itself
Apparently, people who have Sage on their team don't have good experiences with her. I always tried to heal people and I always found it awesome when they were excited that they would be healed. But that's just because their Sages usually didn't help them.
Ascent is my favourite map, if opponent team come A, I ef them in their A, if they come B, I ef them in their B, so my D is left with their AssScent 🤣🤣🤣
So funny, sage is obviously popular and I'm finally getting play time with her and I was thinking the same shit last night. They need to have better differentiating animations between her slow orb and healing orb. I get you build muscle memory to the abilities for the character but, when first playing with her I feel it crosses you up
I only played valorant two times (used sage on both of it) and i didn't know u can actually heal your teammates even if they're kinda far from you, so i mostly die of walking closer to my low HP teammates lol im sorryyyyyy to all my teammates.
JakeThePegee train aim. never stand were if you miss, you die. Always have a spot to fall back to if you miss. Train when you have a precise shot, and how long it takes to get stable after moving. Try counter strafing too, to make that process go faster
Honestly, split is shit, that's not only my opinion but a crap ton of players agree with that, there are way too many awkward angles, the rotates feel really weird and it just feels like there are some parts smashed together, the flow of the map is just bad. Haven is a pretty nice map, but if you have one player whose afk, leaving or shit, you are at such a disadvantage while defending. Bind is a little better, but the problems with split are also in this map, but waaaaay less. The newest map Ascent is by far the most open, simple and cs go-like map, the devs did a great job of imitating some cs go's map features and this makes Ascent in my opinion the best map by far. If you think bind is the best, I get that, same for haven if you're always playing with friends. But split is just trash, I think they should just delete it and start over with maybe the same theme, it would be an okay map by some new map maker on the steam workshop, but this was made by professional developers which makes it even worse
This is definitely not “the only guide you’ll ever need”, and is very much a beginner’s guide. I know they’re exaggerating, but make sure before feeling like you know everything after this guide that you research a bit more.
