I saw vids of resellers and thought I could do it. I watched more and more vids for months but didn't start. In those months that I didn't start, I could have already been making money. 100% if you don't implement what you have learned, that knowledge is useless. If you want to get started then do it. 6 months of selling is way more informative than 6 months of videos. You are going to make mistakes whether you watch vids, have a mentor or whatever. Don't be scared of mistakes that you haven't made yet. We built our business over 2 years and finally got enough revenue that we feel comfortable going all in. If we had not started though, we wouldn't be as far as we are. Averaging about $2k/month on amazon and $3.5k on eBay. That's part time y'all. My wife and I both have 40hr jobs. We do this on the side. Imagine what you could do full time. Just my 2 cents but what are you waiting for? Really, what's holding you back?

@@MarvinTV1 time and money, I have 5k if not more of products at the Amazon wearhouse just sitting. The biggest mistake a total beginner can make is to jump straight into private label, I made that mistake. I haven’t giving up on Amazon, I was just forced to push it to the side while my family well being is priority number one.

I've read books and watched countless videos on a successful persons mentality. One thing every single one of these successful people went through was that "joke" and "lonely" chapter. 2 years ago I used to make good money on ebay doing arbitrage, but whenever I would tell my "friends" I was treated like a joke and called a scammer for reselling from yard sales and thrift stores. I also had a pretty successful streaming channel which I was also made fun of for but I never let the laughs and jokes at my expense stop my from chasing what I wanted. Now I'm 18, finally old enough to have my own LLC and not have to do everything under my moms name. And I'm finally chasing this amazon FBA dream focused on a long term business rather than short term quick money, my friends think its an easy side hustle and my family wont admit it but they don't see much potential in it. If there's one thing I've learned so far in my short life it's that people doubting you, thinking you're being "unrealistic", and feeling like you no longer fit in is the first sign of success. So as long as I have this feeling, I know I'm doing something right.

Yes you can make money with Amazon but is it worth the effort you need to do almost all the time and every single day to make money? Good stepping board to your own unknown brand.
