This is the first video I’ve seen where someone has shown such a variety of straps on a watch like one from the Seiko neo-classic series. Thank you so much for taking the time to showcase this ageless beauty. I think the SUR series’ iterations are so versatile, they’ll look good any time anywhere for decades to come!
@@bigbristv Isn’t its simplicity what makes it one of the best out there? For years, I lived in Japan and naturally started with Seikos; came back to the States and actually discovered Citizens and their quality over here. But the one discriminating factors I’d always looked for were the day and date options on watches-and lo and behold, I felt that itch again after wearing my Rolex Sub 16610 on and off for the past 33 years forgetting what day it was, yes, I confess…along with, believe it or not, Biden’s Seiko 7T32-6M90 Chronograph for many years around Y2K! In closing, of course I love my Rolex, but Seikos holds as much a special place in my heart as Japan, and I am very much looking forward to receiving my new stainless steel gold SUR450 with all the patience I can muster!
@@itsallinthehead Just amazing! No words! Thanks for sharing and the support and I hope you enjoy the heck out of your new acquisition!! Take care, friend 👍👍👍
All the other reviews I saw about this watch, they are all trying to find something negative. The good thing about this one is that is all about appreciation. It is all about how it's owner is really in love with a watch. Good video!
Really nice versatile watch, and a strap for every occasion. For the record, I’m a huge fan of sailcloth straps, and that one looks great. And extra points for the cuff links. I wear them every day myself (I even have one of the pair you have). It’s always nice to see a gentleman with style.
The color of the sailcloth strap fits perfectly with the watch and on your hand... Is the most elegant. The others can fit some costumes occasionally...
So you like the tan sailcloth? Have you seen the navy blue one in the other video? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ep9hpEnCcE.html I'm already noticing the tan sailcloth strap getting dirty just from handling it. Thanks for the comment and support 👍 😀 🙏
@@bigbristv Hahaha, so Im portuguese and the best way i can explain how to pronounce my name is like: Ju-ão(au) with a strong accent in the last 2 words, it's hard to explain by words hahah maybe try to listen on google PT-PT hahaha, thank you again! I already subscribed to your channel!
@@joaovasques5608 ok, I always thought it was pronounced like, wow! 😁 I keep forgetting to ask my Brazilian friends (I only remember when I see it spelled) but thanks for helping me out with that!
You are welcome! That wasn't my intention but it is a very nice watch. I think I have found an automatic version which I will compare when it comes in. Stay tuned!!!
@@bigbristv I love it! It's so nice. Although, I can't get the bracelet to fit just right. It's either too tight or too loose. I'm going to have to order that green alligator strap. Thanks for the demo!
very nice video. gave me a nice ideas for my sarx 033 i also have problems removing bracelets all the time, thats why i like nato/zulu or straps with fast change option also question about fashion. do you match strap colour with shirt or shoes? or whats the general rule
Thank you!!! I used to match leathers: shoes, belt, watch strap. But I also now try to incorporate the different strap colors into my outfits. Oh and, there are no rules! 😉
Zodiac Olympus Automatic would be my choice of ONE & ONLY watch. But for outdoor anything and do everything watch would be A.D.P.T. Series 1 field watch.
That's nice you've found something that works for you. The auto I'm wearing right now was featured here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ep9hpEnCcE.html
Hey Guys, does anyone know if there are spare links for the Seiko SUR307? The band is too tight and I tried the micro adjustments and are still uncomfortable for me. If half links aren’t an option, any watchbands that would fit and suit the style that you can recommend? Thank you!🙏
@@bigbristv in the beginning of the video you said you were "mainly looking for automatic watches, and came across this seiko." So it just really sounded like you were implying this is automatic. And then you dont mention that its quartz before going into the straps. So it was a bit misleading.
@bigbristv oh ok. Thanks man. So the end link curve would be to small in diameter for the case diameter. Hmm I bet I could still make it work with a Dremel. I'm going to order one I think. The sarb is an identical watch. I can't find nothing for mine at all.
Does it look cheap in person? What strap you like on it for dress watch purpose? Do you have videos on which tool kit to buy to resize watch links? Do the hands glow in dark in absence of light?
Looks great in person, almost any leather strap for dress occasions, I did a separate video on the tool kit I used to remove the bracelet in that vid and the hands lume up for a good while once charged up by the sun. Thanks for the support!!!
