Very well done! I don't play in the jungle, but i do play a lot of Zyra and I think you did a very good job explaining the important nuances when playing her. I appreciate you mentioning the forgiving cast animations for spawning plants from seeds because a lot of players do not realize this is even possible! The rare times I have actually played in the jungle as her I always felt Electrocute was superior for all the same reason you expressed in the video. Manaflow Band is wasted and Comet is too inconsistent and infrequent to be worth using in the jungle.
I love the fact that after playing her in jungle for about 5 years she is finally really viable and I can laugh in the faces of those nasty brand jungle players
I used her to climb as support for years and I always wanted to jungle because whenever I leashed I was like man my plants would get me a super fast and healthy clear but seeing it in action makes soo much sense
Actually, i preffer my zyra as a hidden op meta as it was. Now pro Will abbuse her 3 min clear and we Will be nerfed. Yes, its a Joy to our hearts to be a zyra main for so long and finally get recognition, but with a heavy cost

Damn, I played her for many years since her release, she is one of my favorite champions but I never knew there was that difference in her Q vs E plant spawns. I feel so ashamed now lmao. If you spawn them with Ult does it give both the extended range and slow applications? Amazing details in the video always love your content.
i feel like watching this video disproves this instantly. the clear is hyper fast, rune section alone describes how she can act both as a teamfight mage as well as an assassin at will. how is this not solo carry material?

Hi Virkayu- I remember playing a ton of zyra jg after your first guide ages ago, I'm wondering what you thing about malignance instead of blackfire (for chunkier and more-frequent ults), and dark harvest (since we're running cut down and it was just buffed)? I know we'll for sure miss electrocute in the 1v1, and miss blackfire when our ult is on cd, but could these changes actually be good situationally, or is it just shite?

Thanks for this incredible guide, the animations on screen are top notch especially regarding the sequencing of combos :) I main Zyra supp and have shifted towards a more utility/max E/rilay build in the botlane, but your guide makes me wanna try to play her in the jungle as well to be able to play her more like a carry (as a supp I always feel like she struggles to keep up with her dmg in the mid/late unless you're way too fed already). What does the Z, S and B mean on the left side of the "Best Runes" box? Looks like for different circumstances possibly but I don't get what the letters mean. Great video, I have wanted to play Zyra jungle for a long time, it's awesome she is now so viable!
Z, S, A, B etc. are grades used in tier lists pretty much so where he mentions Z, means it is the best of the best option, above all else, S is really really good, B is situational, etc. etc. he explains the rune choices during those segments
Place them outside the pit just a bit and stand in front of them to tank the grubs for your plants. She actually does grubs super fast and safely and you get a ton of seeds back while doing it, you just have to tank the grubs.
