@@stationcolossus It seemed more clear, and the color did seem less saturated...in a good way. Macbook webcam showed lots of red, and glare..although glare can usually be reduced adjusting the angle. I though the tadpole looked much better than the macbook.
Hey guys, I love your videos, but: 1) The Opal C1 I got after watching your last webcam vid is better - not as good value, but since I already bought it I’m keeping this one! 2) My M2 Max MBP webcam is good enough for almost all cases and the mics are absolutely killer 3) I wish you guys would have saved this video for later on, and covered the new MacBook Pros! You could run these sponsored vids during a “tech drought” as they say. I’m waiting for your M3 Max tests before I buy it and I’m anxious to buy it 😂
I'm just going to use my iPhone and Continuity on my Mac, but I'm going to tell my boss who does tons of video conferencing on her work laptop about the Tadpole.
While there could be case made that tadpole camera video quality looks better in certain lightning sound is waaaay worse than that on the Macbook. Not even close unfortunately
Poor max Tech, it's waiting like crazy to review the m3 max 16 inches, but sadly we still don't know for how long the delay is, I just received an email saying that it was delayed last week, and nothing new 😅
@@MaxTechOfficial ah you are lucky, mine I still don't know when it will arrive, in any case I can't wait for the review, especially against the 14 inches m3 max since it looks that again the thermals are making a difference in performance between the sizes. Best
Interesting, again. People are eager to hear more about M3 vs M2 vs M1 bechmarks and yet you release an ad-like video, again. And something that is admittedly targeted for Windows laptops?... What's going on guys? Still eagerly waiting, with growing disappointment. It might be just me.
You are thinking of the Opal C1. This, the Opal Tadpole is specifically for laptops though, this has drastically better audio and video than what is on any laptops built in web cam and has it's own hardware mute/off function for if a Zoom call or other software disables your mute button as some schools/jobs do. This is a massive upgrade compared to the webcam built in literally any laptop.
Please do a Blender Cycles benchmark with M3 16 GB version. Earlier you compared 8 GB M3 with the 16GB but skipped the blender benchmark (Cycles). Please compare the M3 16 GB with a Nvidia graphics card as well. I'm a 3D Artist and I wanna see if M3 16GB will be enough for my workflow. I don't want to pay Nvidia a dime.
I would say it depends on your project scale. But if you really do work with it take at least 16 GB RAM. This is what Apple itself says to it on their product page. ... 8GB: Great for browsing online, streaming movies, messaging with friends and family, editing photos and personal video, casual gaming, and running everyday productivity apps. 16GB: Great if you will be multitasking across a large number of memory-intensive apps, including professional video editing. 24GB or more: Best if you typically work on advanced projects that require enormous files and content libraries.
Honestly, at this age and time i don’t find this tiny enough.. a better design with a camera alone at the front and the processing at the connection end would be great.
I have to say that Max Tech has gone downhill over the last few months in terms of the encroachment of sponsors into his videos. Maybe it is a US thing but as a Brit I have NO CONFIDENCE whatsoever in the integrity of this video. Calls into question other so-called assessments that this reviewer has made. I think it is time for me to unsubscribe.
