Natalie Tran yeah mum isnt as bad now (full disclosure, she has bipolar and the medication she was on didnt really help that much. It's been A LOT better since she's changed it.) But i can totally understand. I wouldnt say she was as bad as to control who my friends were (although she tended to like most of them. I was the "good" girl lol) but she would only let me go to a friends house if she had organised it with their parents (im talking still in my late teens) and i wasnt allowed anywhere without an adult until i was 18... Agreed. I got so angry at the double standard myself and applaud the male MCs for asking certainly pointed questions at the mom and the one guy (Taejoon I think) for stepping in. The other male MC who pointed out the whole "my son" vs. "my daughter" thing. I also think the mom was in shock because she wasn't aware of how her decisions or opinions of how her daughter is treated by her was actually hurting her child.

Yet she is treated as if that was not the case. Thankfully nowadays these stupid old complications are being lessened as people and families are starting to realize that it isn't moral to determine the female child's life when She could be better than any man out there at work, it is simply stupid to put women into lower situations when they are at A deserving stage just because that's how it was. I can relate to what your saying bcause my family opened a cathering business when I was 14, when it started getting a lot of attention it went really downhill for me bcause I had to go to college by day & work for cathering by night. No time for homework, projects, no time for friends, no time for freedom. Now we have money & a business but I have no friends. Idk what a Mcdonald's was at that time...
