Over 50 years of skateboarding and it takes some guy on RU-vid to really get this information to the public. Thanks so much for doing this series. I feel like this is hidden occult info 😂

I wondered the other day if you could hook this type of simulation to an AI and have it invent new tricks that humans could achieve?

The angle you talk about to push down-level board will also depend on the angle of the nose. That is why when putting the tail forward the ollie level differently. Many pros realized this and asked for symmetric twin noses but also adjust how step the nose/tail are

something else to consider. you’re assuming skaters all have feet and ankles in pristine condition. let alone shape and shoe type. i know several people who have crazy kick flip positions that they attribute to past ankle injuries

Can you explain why you'd less likely to get hurt the faster you are with physics? Or If it is just a myth. Glad If you'd pick this one up ✌️

Wouldn't the angle depend on the actual angle that you managed to pop the board up?

Great point. I guess you are right. Should’ve covered other strength of pop but that’s for next time.

Does the angle of your front foot affect an Ollie? I notice many people using the whole side of their shoe to Ollie, whereas ppl like you and me ollie more with our toes. However, i sometimes end up with an awkward Ollie 😅
