I have had very good results with this serum and I did not even use it every day, maybe every other day. I had really short eyelashes and had gaps/sparse lashes. Now they are CONSIDERABLY longer/fuller. I will re-buy this serum. It is now in my must-have list, together with their Buffet serum. I tried another lash serum a few years ago. And got really good results with that one as well, but it was much more expensive. So yeah, I am really satisfied with the TO product :)
that's great! be careful with it though, i've heard if you use products like this for too long in a row your eyes can start to become sensitive to them. i always take breaks from products with actives i put around my eyes. i may have to get this one for my mom!
I have had amazing results with this product. I had to try it for the price. It only took about 4 weeks to notice one day that I had eyelashes again lol. When I use my eyelash curler, a few lashes don't come out. I love this stuff.
That is awesome to hear, I'm glad you had such great results with it, especially since it's so much more affordable than a lot of the other lash serums out there (and less side effects, too).
I do love the Rodan +Fields lash boost. I didn't know they were an MLM until maybe 6 months ago. I always bought from their website. I will be switching to another one since learning that. Thank you for another wonderful review!!!
I notice when I use any peptide serum (like niods copper peptide, factionated eye contour) on my face and carry to my eye/brow area, it seems to also promote some hair growth. So I wonder if they share some of the same peptides and if this dedicated lash/brow serum is really necessary.
It was so affordable that I had to take a chance on it. I had plucked the majority of my eyebrows away in the mid 90’s. So much so that they decided not to return. I have seen the 5-10 strands I do have get longer and thicker but no new growth. I purchased this peptide in June. I also applied to one eyelid and not the other to see if I noticed length there but unfortunately I see no differences there. Win some lose some.
Being older I have lost the ends of my brows or at least sparse. Used this and now have much more hairs on my brow. Love it ! Also I asked my ophthalmologist if it was safe and he said it was safe to use.
I'm having that same issue with my brows, it's a challenge to keep them looking normal so I totally get what you're going through. Nice to hear you had good luck with this one!
My eyes are so sensitive everything bothers them even eyeliner and mascara I tried the grande lash and couldn't use it then I tried a k beauty lash serum etude house I think and I couldn't even use that so I don't think I'll try this but I still haven't got the hair density serum and I want to try that in my hair, I have long hair and alot but I notice I seem to be loosing alot more then usual and it looks alittle thinner then usual so I'm hoping to help that and the dry scalp thing.
I’ve been using The Ordinary’s eyelash and brow serum and since using, at first my lashes was growing so long and full and all of a sudden, my lashes started falling out like crazy. Now; my lashes are more sparse than before using an eyelash serum. My brows are filling in. But what’s causing my eyelashes to fall out? They look horrible now. Some are long, I have areas where I now have NO EYELASHES. I’m so upset. I understand that we go thru lash fall out just like our hair. Shedding. But this is horrible. I am going to have to start using false eyelashes.
If you finish it up on your eyebrows let us know how it works on them. I wouldn' t use it on my lashes, but if it worked on brows, I'd get it. Plenty of us are now older, and have thinning eyebrows. Personally I think the risk of the prostaglandin ones outweighs the benefits.
You didn’t mention if it did anything for your brows - or did you use it there? I’d only try this on brows cuz my eyelids are way too sensitive, but the dryness you mentioned give me pause . . . 🙁
Was using it once per day for about 3 weeks. The skin under my eyes as well as my eyelids became so sensitive, red & irritated, I stopped. The irritation went away. I'm not sure if it was this product, so I'll try it again, maybe in another week. 💖💖💖
I have distiachiasis, which is double eyelashes like Elizabeth Taylor (which I think contributes to my eyes being sensitive and why I always have to be careful applying anything near them. Stuff always seems to get in my eyes lol), but I was curious about this for my eyebrows. I have always had thicker eyebrows (probably because I have a lot of French & Spanish ancestry), but an accident at work two years ago on my left eyebrow caused scarring and my eyebrow never grew quite the same since then. Perhaps I should look into something with prostaglandins instead.
That sounds super cool! I didn't know she had double eyelashes. Did a Dr or optometrist happen to notice them and tell you you had double lashes or were they causing you problems? I googled it and it just looks like super luscious lashes lol
@@gwendolinehall1386 An optometrist told me during a (routine) eye exam! Asked if I knew I had it. I didn’t know lol. I just thought they were thick lol. In my teens/early 20s, during the winter (I was especially pale), I once was asked if I was wearing mascara/eyeliner. Being a guy who has never worn makeup, I was offended at the time. But now I remember it fondly lol
I used Latisse Rx for a year or two. I had fabulous result & then just stopped caring lol, love the effect of mascara too 😁!! But for fewer dollars, hmmm, maybe? Let me finish watching . Thanks beautiful 💕🍁☀️🍁, oh actually nvm. Doesn’t seem worth trouble!!
Any recommendation for products that work GREAT that are specifically made for eyebrows? I’ve used both careprost & grandelash which both have prostaglandin analogues and got amazing results for my eyelashes _(w/o any adverse effects.)_ However, my eyebrows didn’t seem to respond😞 I like the shape of my brows just one is sparser than the other and I want them to be more symmetrical 😭
I made the mistake of wiping my eyebrows then the eyelids. Well I threw it out! I caught a horrible irritation on my right eyelid. Now using Ocusoft wipes.
Hello miss Sarah,my lashes are so sensetive. They where infectie,so not anymore. The brows yes please can get my tales of my brows to grow ,think i try that one or castor oil.Thank you.Use the waterdrops from the farmacie every day now for the sensetive eyes.
I'm so curious about this one for my delicate brows, it's encouraging that anecdotally people are seeing good results! Sorry to hear it caused you some dry eye. I'd love to try but it has a sulfite preservative I've reacted to before. I do wonder if the peptides they use can be found in a moisturizer or serum and applied similarly, probably different quantities of the peptides though.
Prostaglandins are illegal without a prescription in CANADA now. So I don’t think it was because The Ordinary didn’t want to have an expensive product, it could be part of it, but it’s because The Ordinary is Canadian and manufactured their products in CANADA, so it would be problematic for them
Great review! I'm curious about this one but I would only use it on my eyelashes. My eyes are sensitive too. I bought the elf one to try and haven't used it once because I'm too scared LOL I have pale colored eyes so I never planned to use the prostaglandin type. I don't know about this one. Maybe I should finally try the elf. Then get the ordinary one in the November sale. I definitely need to grow some more lashes
I've been using castor oil on my lashes and that seems to help a bit as well. It is tough, although some people have had good luck with this one so that is always a hopeful sign.
I've been using this serum for about a month, on my eyebrows only. I have very sensitive eyes, don't want to risk anything. I sometimes forget to use it in the morning but most days I do use it twice a day. I have good brows to begin with but I see a few more here and there! I think I will get another tube once I'm done with one.
I use it right after I get out the shower when my hair is still damp- you can certainly apply it to dry hair if you prefer, but I think damp hair is the way to go.
It is so much more affordable, especially when most of the lash serums with prostaglandins are upwards of $100 or more, but sadly, this just didn't deliver much results.
@@NOBSBeauty Those prostaglandins are going nowhere near me. But was willing to give peptides a chance. :) Haven’t used it long enough for a final verdict.
