Due to the unconventional nature of the Copenhagen Collective project, our team found itself needing to film and produce a trailer for the show even before the creation process for said show had begun.
This was driven by the tight deadline we set for ourselves after the kickstart of the Copenhagen Collective, which required the creation of visual material to help our tour producers sell the show to venues and festivals.
We had only a 3-month window to plan our tour, much shorter than the industry standard of 1-2 years.
This video became the Trailer 1.0 of what would later become The Genesis.
Our filmmaker Luke Chadwick-Jones, in collaboration with Remy Archer (who joined us last minute after a call from Luke) used core ideas, qualities, and values provided by the Directors Johan and Patrick King. Together, they shaped the artists’ skills and talents to align with the vision for the upcoming show.
