The game randomly gave her a name. Historically Dong Zhuo’s wife was the daughter of a Qiang Tribal leader so she didn’t have a regular Han name and historically was only recorded as Lady Dong sort of like Mrs. Dong

There were many tiers and the Han rules were very flexible. So what likely happened was he got the death penalty (which is a common sentence that is applicable to over 600 different types of crimes) but you can pay your way to lower the tiers. So Dong Zhuo probably paid his way to lower his sentence to exile

Yes but considering his service to the court with dealing a different rebellion I would say it's a combination of his contributions,paying for a less harsh sentence and maybe his kindness towards his men and the tribes

@@andysatrioajie7886 No I am pretty sure that was just a thing at the time, regardless of Liu Hong's policies. Sentence commutation was fairly common, for example for a poorer person who couldn't afford to pay money the Imperial army usually had quite large amounts of convict-soldiers who were serving in the military as a way to commute their sentences through service to the state. Though I imagine they probably wouldn't have super high faith in these soldiers to do anything but garrison and patrol, but I am not really qualified to say how much convict soldiers were trusted.

So this is a chinese naming convention. When you are born you are given your name, so your family name or your last name in the west and then your name aka your first name so for example Zhuge Liang is from the Zhuge clan and his name is Liang. Last names are written first in China. Then when you come of age, your parents or teacher give you a styled name or a courtesy name that you use with the outside world because your real name is reserved for family use. So in Zhuge Liang’s case, his styled name was Kong Ming. So people who lived at the time would call him either Zhuge Kong Ming or just Kong Ming.

Extreme situations requires extreme tactics. I believe he was called when the Imperial Capital goes nuts. A pretty straight forward guy he is, he's actually unifying china. Burning down the capital when the coalition closes in was a wise move as he was applying a scorch earth policy so that the warlords won't get the riches from sacking.

@@ralphaquino6704 he did a lot of extra stuff if he was just doing what must be done. Killing Empress He, switching Emperors, and all the looting....and all these were before anyone rebelled against him being regent

The emperor thing is a bit controversial since some historian states that the current child emperor at that time is not eligible for the emperorship thus he replaced it with the more younger child whom the emperor is close to. And the empress is actually one of the roots why the eunuchs gained so much power making way on the downfall of the empire

I mean if it was actually controversial as in people agreed that the current emperor wasn't eligible then no one would have rebelled
