This strangely brings back happy childhood memories

They sometimes played this full length commercial two times in a row on Cartoon Network. And I used to scream at the tv every time.

I remember this from kindergarten watching Cartoonnetwork.

This commercial alongside the Zoobooks and Ultimate Love Songs commercial used to play all the time on Cartoon Network and Toon Disney back in the early 2000s. I miss those days when life was simple.

as a kid i enjoyed watching this commercial and the Betty Crocker Bake N Fill one too.

I so love that the early 2000s commercials still kept the intense 90s vibe... I'll always be so happy and grateful growing up in best best decade...

Mind blown. Thank God for making 2004 a year to remember! 2004 was truly Cartoon Network's biggest year. Its logo got redesigned, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends debuted, even the premiere of the Codename: Kids Next Door episode, "Operation: B.E.A.C.H", was my favorite highlight from the year 2004. 👍😉

I thought this was so cool when I was little and now I'm realizing it's just a double boiler and a ton of supplies you could just buy online in bulk for $4

I’m surprised by how well I remember this commercial. I was nine when this commercial started airing, now twenty years later I find it again. Brought back so many memories.

I have actually seen this. My oldest sister got it for Christmas from her husband one year after it came out. Unlike the commercial, it didn't have certain things like the lollipop sticks and squeeze bottle. The pots are fairly small

As a kid, I really REALLY wanted this chocolate factory kit so badly. And as an adult I still want it.

I actually remember buying the kit when I first saw the commercial and made myself more chocolate than I could even count. Was definitely surprisingly easy to do too

I vaguely remember seeing this commercial. As I watch it, it all comes back to me.

Let's see, chocolate graham crackers, just put in a chocolate marshmallow and you've got s'mores! Chocolate gummi watermelon... White Chocolate pretzel... Filling for specific holidays... Sundaes, caramel turtles, caramel apples, Peanuts Butter, Chocolate Mousse! Mmmm... chocolate.

As a kid, I always saw these kind of commercials as "moddest" and "quaint", as opposed to other bombastic in-your-face commercials with absurdist humor, who just want to offer you a decent product through "honest" means and in a lighthearted tone. The "limited" feeling just made it feel more "honest" and "moddest", y'know?
