Using yet another amazing mod from Sultim Tsyrendashiev - aka Sultim-t found here, we can now play Doom (1993) with path traced lighting: github.com/sul...
Very simple install, you can follow the information on the site, namely - Buy and install Doom (or elsewhere as long as you have the .WAD file - Shareware will work too) in Steam -- Unzip prboom-rt.zip to an empty folder
Place the original game's DOOM.WAD to that folder
Run prboom-plus.exe
It has a totally transformative effect on the game... for better and worse! I run through the starting areas - E1M1 to show some of the major differences.
